It was extremely interesting to learn game programming, although, it was extremely hard, but still a great course!

The best FunTech course I have done!

This course is really fun and you get to make game with graphical interfaces. My tutor, Chris, was also really nice and was always happy to help me if I got stuck on a part of the question. Highly recommend!

After One Year At Funtech

The courses are very fun. They are picked out well and the lessons are clear and enjoyable to do. It is overall fun for 1 hour and 20 minutes each week.

Pure coder level 1.

I really enjoyed Funtech this year, it was really good, I really enjoyed learning python and making fun projects (to do with python). It’s been a really positive experience. I have been able to understand the basics of python really well, and most of all have fun.

Great Course

This was a great course to take, especially for the basics of coding. It has genuinely helped my GCSE Computer Science as it isn't taught well in my school and has overall expanded my love of programming more!

Interesting but difficult

An interesting course about gaming in python but a lot of code needs to be memorised. Quite a bit of content and time needs to be spent learning it all. It is very intriguing to learn.

My Review

This year has been mostly challenging except from some challenges and things throughout the year but overall everything was great. The tutor was very nice and i enjoyed this year.

The funtech year

It was good because I learnt a lot including how to animate whatever I like or put a filter on a photo but my favourite part was doing the HTML -building a website at the end.

Just amazing the best coding classes in the WORLD.
And i had a amazing tutor.

The content was interesting and definitely challenging enough. Sometimes the challenges could have been phrased more easily but mostly they were good as well. I feel like this course has been more interesting and enjoyably for me personally than PC01/PC02, because I feel it has evolved more.

Funtech is a very fun interactive course where you can learn a lot, it is also very fun as you can learn how to do cool things e.g. create graphs and shapes. They are very immersed in our learning as if we put an amber face or below that make sure to check up on you and try and fix the problem....

Funtech is a very fun interactive course where you can learn a lot, it is also very fun as you can learn how to do cool things e.g. create graphs and shapes.
They are very immersed in our learning as if we put an amber face or below that make sure to check up on you and try and fix the problem.
As you get closer to the end of the course the content gets more difficult and can be harder to get to grips with and so i feel (especially for Level 2 term 2&3) they should maybe go into a bit more depth and not try and rush everything as much as if you don't understand the content when it is first explained you will just fall behind which isn't ideal.
They are also very present and will try and answer your questions to the best of their ability everytime which is very important.
I enjoyed the course however near the end of the term the content became much more difficult and harder to understand

Great year, learnt a lot

At the start I thought there'd be no way I'd be able to make a 2D game engine in Python, but here I am I guess. The Tutor was great and clearly knew a lot more than what was needed, so that was really great. I did get lost along the way a few times but I understood what was going on in general...

At the start I thought there'd be no way I'd be able to make a 2D game engine in Python, but here I am I guess.
The Tutor was great and clearly knew a lot more than what was needed, so that was really great.
I did get lost along the way a few times but I understood what was going on in general quite confidently just the little small things were what sometimes confused me.
Can't wait to continue FunTech next year, though that isn't Purecoder, I'm certain it will be just as good.
I think what would be cool would be to have a game we plan on building in the end, and adding to the same file(s) every week and slowly building up to one big game at the end, rather than tons of smaller units and files.
Thanks a lot for a great year in which we covered a lot of content.

best and most fun exam prep EVER!

it was amazing! every time i was confused i got separate sessions to get my mind less confused and help me understand.

My Funtech year

This year I found that the lessons were a bit more dull. Even though they were very beneficial, I also found it quite boring. Next year I hope for the courses to be a bit more fun, but just as much tech!

A very nice year

I think it was amusing and enjoyable. Some parts were confusing, but with preps eventually, I got to understand them.

Funtech python OOP

FunTech Java Camp helped me so much during the holidays, as I learned lots of new codes and techniques of Java. Usually, I do Python but now this is something else and it is interesting that it is an another coding platform/software. There is lots of different types of coding variables that is not in Python. During this insane journey of learning Java, I have been amazed by how much this could improve my coding skills and help me with my future. Learning different types of coding platforms will inspire me and make me becoming a professional coder. As well as learning new things. It has been so fun because we made lots of different lessons/topics. This will help me on and thank you for making this amazing camp!

This was my first time being in a Funtech lesson and it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The classes were challenging and the guidance through it was clear. A lot better than I initially assumed, Only con for me was the time I would preferably have my classes 3hours long rather than 3hours 30mins, besides that I enjoyed every moment of my learning experience at Funtech, Java coding, Virtual Course.

great java course!

I learnt a lot about Java, and I feel like I have a solid foundation for the language now (wooooo!) Only thing I'd say is that my classmates weren't as interactive and it slowed the course a bit, but since the last few days are projects that's something I can continue in my own time now :)

It was well worth the price!

I really enjoyed the lesson and am definitely coming back for the Python V2 or OOP, In my class it would take two weeks to learn something when in this course it would only take around 5 minutes. The tutor was very supportive and always encouraged help, I highly recommend this course!

Was a very fun course with lots of topics covered, I really enjoyed the course for a number of reasons. The course for me was more of a confidence booster with my computer science skills, which I hope to use now and In the future. My tutor Sam was very understanding and was very good at helping all students understand concepts. He clearly had a deep understanding of the course as a whole and adjusted the pace of the lessons and provided different things to be completed for students that felt like they already knew thoroughly the topics that were being presently discussed. Even though I mostly knew almost all of the topics, I still came away somehow feeling I understood more about them. Was an absolute pleasure to be on the course, and I am looking forward to completing PC02 and PC03 in the future.

It was very fun and we went through a lot and finished early and I felt like I learnt a lot. The Tutor was really nice and helped me through it as well.

I love roblox!

I had lots of fun making games for roblox. I made lots of Race Track which was probably the most fun for me! I think that I could continue do roblox even after the course is done. Over all I think I have made tons of progress and enjoyed this course. Thank You SEBASTIAN
