I enjoyed the course a lot because I learnt a lot of new things and I fun doing all the challenges and my tutor helped me out when ever I was stuck. Overall I think that this course was very fun and I recommend it to other people.

Part 2 coder

During this class I felt as if I've learned a lot. I understand coding much better than I used to and am exited to start my own projects in the future. I really enjoyed my time here and hope I can do it again.

Funtech python course

Over all very helpful and informative. all my questions were answered and the assistance was really good. I learnt a lot and I thought that repeating tasks was very helpful as it made sure i had remembered everything. It also goes into detail and explains things in a way which is easy to understand.

This course was so engaging - it's full of creating different sorts of projects, from using cars to moving platforms. The team at FunTech are super knowledgeable and always know how to solve any tech issues. The screen sharing app makes tutors able to check which errors that students have, and are able to use a pointer to direct students so they know how to solve the problem, in case it comes up again. I've really enjoyed this course and will certainly b looking to do the Part 2 course!

It started slowly but quickly got fun- I enjoyed making pong and my own project which was a flying pig clicker game.

I loved this course and my teacher was really nice, funny and helpful. I would definetly come back and would highly recommend it to my friends. 100/10 AND if I come back then I hope I would get the same teacher. Overall really good!

Good starter course

these sessions have taught me a solid amount of oop without being overly complicated when i was behind tutor caught me up when I was in front I had numerous extension tasks to do a great beginner course that teaches the basics and more

I loved learning about python cant wait for next week and also i love python so i do lots of courses so my 0 lack of practise has helped i learnt lots and recommend highly for 11 - 15 year olds

Comprehensive and fun introduction to C++

Having never learned C++ before, I feel that this course has taught me so much in an engaging way, with lots of support given by staff and many opportunities to ask questions. I find the skills checks helpful for consolidating knowledge, but also not too stressful or intimidating.

My son thoroughly enjoyed his camp

My son has already asked if he can do another Funtech camp next year. He learnt a great deal in a week and wants to carry on using Python. The tutor to pupil ratio was excellent and the instruction very helpful. We felt the camp overall was well run and a safe place for our child to be.

My 8-year-old had an absolute blast at Minecraft day camp. I was slightly concerned he'd come back a computer zombie after an 8-hour day building mods, but he was energised, and his mind was on fire with ideas when he got home. My 8-year-old had an absolute blast at Minecraft day camp. I was slightly concerned he'd come back a computer zombie after an 8-hour day building mods, but he was energised, and his mind was on fire with ideas when he got home. Every time I came to collect him, the staff were hands-on, helping the children and were really personable. My son said it was one of his favourite bits about the camp, talking to the staff. He learnt a lot about Minecraft and made some friends. It's a strong recommendation from us.

Great fun & good learning

My son took a one week virtual camp on Python. He absolutely loved it and learned lots.
At then end of each day, he could not wait to tell me all about it, every detail!
It was a small group and the tutor was also very engaging. Great experience which I recommend.

My Funtech Review

In this week, my love for python has exponentially grown as this has flown by. I have learnt a lot, specially OOP and also despite being online, it has been amazing. The teacher is amicable and makes learning fun and easy. This has been a brilliant course and I have learnt a lot of python.

This camp has inspired me to first of all develop a love of coding and a acknowledgement of the true difficulty of coding. I have been doing a Unity Course and it has been very fun, the tutor funny, engaging and inclusive. The curriculum in the course itself has been very good, as even Unity, which can be very hard for people without any prior knowledge of coding (like me), has been put in such a way that all can understand. I made games, learnt many things about not just Unity but coding in general as well.
Truly, this course has inspired a deep-seated love for coding in me that was not there before, due to the combination of an excellent tutor, excellent course and excellent camp altogether. I am definitely thinking about doing this course again next time, having only done Part 1 of this course, as I wish to learn more coding.
Unity has taught me many of the main aspects of coding, like components, sprites, how to deal with sprites, actually writing code and understanding code, troubleshooting and many other essential parts of coding. This is why I would wholeheartedly suggest this course to parents and children thinking about going through with this course. Even though this camp being virtual may put off some people due to the removal of face-to-face interactions, I'd say this is actually better than an in-person camp due to the freedom of environment and clothing and all other things that may be restricted in face-to-face. This, for me at least, improved my experience massively, and with the extra effort of my tutor, removed any semblance of distance and isolation to the point that I felt I was there.
Overall, I would definitely suggest this course to friends and family from the years of 11 - 16 to this course as it is engaging, fun, informative, inspirational and is something good to do during the summer holidays.

So fun and cool

At first when I got here I new nothing about roblox studio and creating roblox games, but it was so fun learning and creating projects and even publishing them at the end!

Love it

I liked the lessons and enjoyed making new freinds including sarp, max, dhruva, oscar but mabye less talking more doing.

The Unity Online course was very fun and interesting: in my 5 days at Funtech, I've made many new friends and had a lot of fun interacting with my tutor while also learning about Unity and how it works. Would 100% recommend to someone who has an open timetable!
