Luca thoroughly enjoyed his week with Nick and the fact that he had almost one to one teaching. Nick was very thorough with his teaching and knew how to get the best out of Luca, which i found impressive.
Nick was always helpful and ready to give explanations regarding the work or any other matter and willing and dedicated enough to stay behind longer in the day or come in very early to accomodate any pupils (including Luca) on day 4.
Luca has gained so much knowledge and experience from being taught Mods by Nick...
very valuable for Luca's next stages of development.

My son was happy to participate on this course and had a 'fun' time doing his favourite activity - computing. He already knew some of the techniques but gathered a lot more knowledge along the way. I chose it for him because it seemed an educational, enjoyable and productive workshop which it proved to be. He was excited with his 3D printed creation at the end and and I was very impressed with the dedication of the workshop team.

Joe is a patient considerate and thorough tutor and my son really enjoyed his first experience with Funtech on his first week ever. I really feel that learning Java has given Luca a deeper understanding which he can now carry forward, in order to learn and enjoy other courses. Joe always managed to keep his cool and explain anything which i as a parent didnt understand if i had any questions. He is polite and helpful and made sure he went through as much of what Luca learned with myself present at the end of the week, as he had time for; also on a daily basis if there was anything myself or Luca needed to know. He made us aware of the fact that Java can be challenging and found ways round teaching it effectively to Luca for his age and understanding level.

My son started off fairly sceptical, but has thoroughly enjoyed his week. He began as a complete novice but is now totally confident in setting up his own game at home, and is really enjoying exploring all the possible options.

Jacob has been very enthusiastic every day going to Java Code Camp.
He has learnt so much and can't wait to carry on at home improving the skills hes learnt.
He has especially liked the Tutors Kwaku and Yuvesh who have been very clear with instruction and been very supportive throughout the week. He is keen to do another course next summer which we will have no hesitation signing him up for. We were a bit worried as he is only 10 if it would be at a suitable level but Jacob has managed to keep up with the rest of the class and thrive on the knowledge he has learnt. Big thank you for a great week.

Great Week

I had a very good week modding and it was very interesting, however the Tutors know want we needed to know.

Summer Camp

Over the course of five days I learnt the basics of java programming with help from to teachers Yuvesh and Kwaku. We went through loops and went rather loopy with them, we learnt about variables and their uses as well as plenty of logic and inputs. Over all a very fun camp if only I had more time...

I have enjoyed this so much, the food is BRILLIANT! The teachers are really fun, I am definetely going to the Java Coding Camp!

GamePro Camp

I enjoyed this camp a lot and would definitely recommend this GamePro course! Although there were some problems with Unity upon occasion, this would be expected when using more advanced equipment and coding and the tutor was very helpful.

I spent a week at Funtech, and did java coder. The course was really interesting, and I learned a lot. I made quite a few friends and the accommodations were awesome. They had Wifi and we got our OWN rooms! We didn't even have to clean them! All the computers come equipped with minecraft and all kinds of other games, so we could have fun when we weren't working. The only problem I can think of was the food, but it was better then some other camps I have been to. Definitely planning to come next year.

I have really enjoyed this course. It was full of enjoyable activities. I found out so much more than I had about minecraft redstone. I enjoyed my teacher so much as Patricia was helpful every second. This has been a amazing experience.

I had a very good time here and I learnt a lot about java coding.There were a lot of fun activities that you do in between lessons like bouncy castles and Total Wipout activites.I recomend coming here becouse it is a lot of fun.

Fun fun and more fun @ the funtech camp

Very fun even if on the Java camp, but more fun when residential, as you could do the activities,
play more Minecraft and Agar.io, and have fun. Everybody is nice and cool. Lots of fun and worth the money. Awsome!

Java Coder

all though it was more boring than the last camp I went to (Minecraft Redstone) but it was still very interesting. Both of my tutors (Illyass and Catt ) were very nice. I enjoyed it very much and hope I can come back next year.
