Minecraft Redstone

I enjoyed doing the day camp Minecraft Redstone. but I thought it should be for more days but less each day because it was eyes on screen all day except for 2 1/2 hours.

This Camp is Cool

This is one of the most amazing holiday camps. I had so much fun as well as learning. Our teacher, Jay, was brilliant at teaching us java and I found it very interesting and simple. When we weren't learning coding, we were also doing many exciting activities such as swimming, cricket but most of all, the bouncy total wipeout jump, gladiator arena, bungy run and the lazer tag. The meals were also brilliant and gave us a wide choice of what we would like. if anything was slightly bad, it would be the fact that the beds are uncomfortable at first, but that didn't really matter, as you get used to it and also everything else was really fun. I now understand all the basic principles of java and can make many word games with it and have a very good understanding of it. I cannot stress how amazing this camp is (by the way, if you like minecraft that's good as in the breaks you can play minecraft). This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

I write as a very happy student. I really don't think I would of learnt as much about Lego Mindstorms. The people were nice and so were the rooms. I really don't think I could of had a better time learning computers.

Coding Level 1 (Java)

We learnt all the basics of Java coding, touching on slightly more advanced material, explained by our tutor. He was really helpful in explaining things we did not understand and we all had a lot of fun during and in between lessons.

I had so much fun at this camp. It was so much fun learning about mine craft on the computer in survival.my tutor Joel was so fun and helpful. Every lunch break there was so much to do.

I really like Funtech summer camps because I learnt so much and it was really fun. Also I made lots of friends. I want to come next year. 100% fun . We got to have chats and there was plenty of time to have breaks. It is very good to be here. IT WAS AMAZING! FIVE STARS RATING!#funtechforlife.

Lots of Fun

We learnt lots, and it was quite fun as, the tutors help, but don't straight up give us the answers. The tutors also take us to the park and we play games there, the break is really fun, as you get to know other people that aren't doing your course.

I came to this camp with high expectations from my friend Jamie, who said it was the only camp he had ever really enjoyed. I am happy to say that these expectations have been met, if not exceeded. I have learnt a lot from this course in Java when before I didn't know a word of code. The teaching methods are simple yet effective and there is a nice relaxed environment. We learnt many things from Simple Console outputting to else if statements, for loops and combining everything we had learnt so far. My thanks to Ben Gunton and Maud Lemercier.
This is the most extensive, yet outrageously expensive summer camp I have ever been on!

funtech is so much fun! as for the tutors, we had Maud and Ben, who were really nice and were really helpful to my learning experience. the difficulty wasn't too challenging, and wasn't too hard. as i'm writing this, i'm halfway through my experience, and already know i going to come back for a another course! NOTHING was bad about this camp was bad! I SO recommend this camp, and even if this camp cost £20000 pounds, it would still be worth the price.

The teachers were extremely helpful, always coming and helping when called. I learnt a type of coding I had never known before, and it was an amazing feeling when I realised I was writing script used to make programmes. I had never coded, apart from schoolboy knowledge of scratch and touch develop, but that did not hinder me at all. Whenever I finished the exercises there were always extension exercises to keep me busy and my brain ticking. It was an amazing experience and one that I would recommend to others.
