Worth every penny

I would recommend this camp because even if you think you know every thing about minecraft you will learn new thing you didn't know were possible and at the end you can build a fortress to protect your diamonds

Redstone

Redstone is a fun camp with lots of learning and enjoyment in it. You will love but it will also help you learn for older years in school. For Redstone is based of circuits and A Level work with is made easy to understand like pie. Thank you

Java coder is a really interesting and helpful course, especially if you're planning to move on to the Programming course and then the Programming A level here. I highly recommend going to this course as it will be extremely helpful in the future and enables you to do most of the other Summer Camps with ease (such as: GamePro, Minecraft Mods, CodeBreaker). I think that before you do any other camp here you should do this one, as it will help greatly and make everything easier for you. The lunchtime activities were a lot more fun than I expected- playing either Laser Quest or Bowling was so much fun!!

Java Coder-Funtech Summer Course

I really enjoyed the Java coder course. Everything was clearly explained and it was great fun coding different games and projects. I would highly recommend it to anyone of any ability. Even if you never do it again its a great experience and good to have the skill.

I am 14 years old and I really enjoyed the course. It was quite challenging but not overly so. The increasing pace and gradual difficulty increase really accelerated my learning and I can't believe how much I have learnt! This already amazing and informative course, is amplified by the teachers and FunTech staff who are very friendly and approachable. I cannot recommend this course enough and you need no previous experience with coding.

Java coder course

I think this was really interesting and it involved everyone who was involved in the course and the teacher was really good at explaining the confusing topics. The exercises were not too easy but not too difficult. Overall it was a really good experience and i would go again.

This course is really good. You may think that this course is really intense but its actually not there are guided videos and the teachers were really good and helped you when you needed help. I was new to Java and Eclipse but the teachers helped me get involved and more into java than I thought I was going to be. The activities at lunch were not what I expecting at all they were awesome and really helped me make lots of friends and get away from the screen.The food at the Tonbridge was really good. Overall I would recommend coming to this course.

I have found this course enlightening. I learnt a lot more than my father's books taught me. i very much enjoyed the activities which so far have included: a bungee run; a gladiator podium battle and zorbing. They have given us enough free time each day to relax after coding and talk to our friends. The accommodation is absolutely incredible and the staff are really nice over all I must say it's the best course I have been on over the span of my life.

Java Residential Camp in Tonbridge

I enjoyed a lot this tech camp. I love the course of and also activities. The staff is so good teaching and having fun or just talking and joking with them. I wish the course was more than a week. I really recommend this course.

Funtech summer camp

I enjoyed the Java courses; the teachers were helpful and the lessons were pretty easy to follow. The activities were fun and everybody could take part in them. My favorite activity was probably putting on a spherical plastic suit and playing football in it.

I've really enjoy-it, because the teachers where grate, the activities where really fun and I leaned many things about java.

The Java Summer Camp is and will be an awesome camp for learning beginners, like me. I was new to Java and Eclipse, but (Thanks to the teachers and of course my amazing brainpower) I am currently near the top of the class. The atmosphere is nice and friendly, and the exercises are challenging, but not too much. I have had lots of fun, and hope to keep having fun. The accommodation is quite comfy, as you get your own rooms.
To future parents and children who are thinking of joining, please join these camps. This is not a ploy to make you give the staff more money, but this is a cool camp to come to. Please join to help your child's future in programming thrive and blossom.

The activities which were chosen are all amazing! I always got a go on anything we were doing and they were mostly things that I hadn't done. The Java Coder was hard but the majority of the time I knew exactly what I was doing. The dorms were comfortable and there was more than enough space to put my clothes even though I packed for a week after the course. The instructors were funny and they made everyone feel very comfortable in their surroundings. The overall experience was fantastic and I would do it again if I could.

I went on the java coder residential camp and I really enjoyed it. I learnt so much and the activities were really fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Java while having a fun time at the same time.

Good minecraft redstone camp

During the time I've stayed at this mine-craft residential for 5 days most of it has been good except from staying away from home but eventually it was OK.The activity's are really unusual and quite cool.

Best Camp Ever

At FunTech, I did the Minecraft Redstone course. It was really fun and the staff are helpful.
I would recommend it! The activities were great. On the first night we played Murder Mystery, and I was an assistant of the murderer. Great fun!!

Minecraft Redstone

Before this residential camp I loved Redstone! But I have learnt so much more! Redstone makes the game play much more fun! The rooms are really clean,and the food is really nice. The lunchtime activities are really fun! I would definitely recommend this to any one else!

GREAT FUN!

During my 5 days at Funtech, there was just fun, fun and more fun! The tutors are very helpful and attentive. I've learnt lots on redstone and on circuits since I wen't there. The activities were great too. As for the food, there was a large variety!

An amazing camp. The pace is high, activities and venue were great. The teachers were brilliant and fun. It really opened my eyes as to what was available to do with redstone in minecraft.
I highly recommend it!

Fun for everyone!

Seriously reccomend this. You don't just get to learn about Minecraft, but you get to hang out with other people and do some fun activities such as:
- Movie nights
- Game tournaments
- A PvP team brawl on Minecraft
- Fun physical activities
Etcetera.

i feel like a genius now

This course was awesome and taught me so much about redstone from turning on a redstone lamp to making a redstone lift. I met some new friends during this course and the staff Stefan was really helpful and is great at his job.

I Enjoyed Learning In FunTech Very Much.Our Teacher Marcus Was Very Helpful And Gives Everyone Advice And Never Takes Any Sides.We Could Program Almost Anything For The Robot To Do.I Also Loved Doing The Complicated Mazes I Hope To Come Back Again Soon.

3D Game Design

My week on the 3D Game Design Course was thoroughly enjoyable. I especially liked the opportunities to create scripts and codes to make the game do more interesting things. I would very much like to do another course with FunTech next year.
