Review on 3D game design

3D game design was a fun and interesting course. I had fun through out the week learning how to make a game and our teacher David Lambeth was a fun tutor.

the camp was really fun because i liked making a fps and we went bowling and we went to laser quest it was really fun David was nice and the students were nice as well and its fun using fps create.

i had so much fun at the camp. it was greatly planned and very organized. i learnt so much and it really helped me towards my programming.

The camp was really fun learning and using things i never before knew about like FPS Creator. The scripting at first was confusing but now its something easy. I really enjoyed making playing and fixing the errors and mistakes i had made.

The course was great, to start off with the teacher was very good at the teaching and very importantly, very friendly. the videos that were used to demonstrate and teach us how to use the many things that the software we used offered, which brings me to the only major downside in the course: the software.The software was old and as a result there were technical difficulties, there were MANY times when it crashed occasionaly erasing progress. The software also had limitations to what it could do, but the rest was great. I HIGHLY recommend this course

Challenging, fun an very useful to learn coding

FunTech has been a great experience for me. I have been able to learn a lot. The resources are great and the teachers are very nice. The teachers are reliable as they are able to help if necessary.

Challenging and fun

I enjoyed the Java coder course because at the start its slightly easy and each day it gets a tiny bit harder and harder. its also good that we get 3 brakes a day one at 10:30 second at lunch time and third at 3:30 and at lunch time we go to the park when its not raining.

Nick was a great tutor- made content interesting and gave the 3 of us in our class a great time throughout the week. Always made content relatively easier to understand, and the OOP aspect was understood thoroughly by the end of the week. At first, I didn't particularly enjoy the pure Minecraft side to the course, however the team were willing to help me out by starting to design my own game using Java. So, this definitely cheered me up: I can't think of anything wrong with the course I started afterwards.. I enjoy studying, and this course definitely kept me occupied, and I believe this course is great as I am constantly learning new ways of coding and different techniques for creating more efficient code. Python was my first language( not OOP ) so Nick always made his best efforts to make things relatable, and this often helped in the understanding. He knew what he was talking about, and this again made the course easier and more interesting.

This is a good course to get you started with programming, and there is no knowledge required to start making quite complex programs with many lines of code! Recommended for all ages and computer lovers.

A very good summer camp

this summer camp was really interesting, the teachers are really good, helping you if you are behind and helping you during breaks if needed (Markus is the best teacher), I learned a lot and met new people being in an environment full of nerds like me :D

Review of Java course

The course was very fun and i have learn't a lot while on this course. My instructor (Joe) explained how java worked and the activities were challenging. I found the card examples quite fun and the piece of code that could figure out what was the suit of the card and value, this I found challenging.

It was amazing you will love it

FunTech was a really fun camp. I got to learn loads of interesting things about Java and how to code. the tutors were were helpful and nice. the cores are really cool and fun to do. the only downside is that is expensive.

Java Coder

Had a great time, tutors were amazing, and an over-all very enjoyable experience. It was as much fun the second time around as the first and I hope to go again a third!

Quite fun and a good start to programming

I am quite pleased with the amount I have learned. It was very informative. I also found a sense of achievement, knowing I can now complete basic code. Would recommend! :-)

This was a great course to really add scope to my abilities and have fun, especially since we got to 3D print our models, and add them into a basic game.

Best camp I have ever been to

This camp is amazing ,the support is outstanding and the teachers are amazing. I have never been able to create a game myself but these people have told me how to and it feels amazing.
They cover everything in a game software, graphics, lighting and scripting I would definitely come again.

Funtech is the Best

The Tutors, Jake and Dev were great. They were really helpful with teaching me how to use FPS Creator. And they showed us how to script so we can really personalise our games so that we can create exactly what we want.
