FunTech is Fun

I had a really good week and I enjoyed it a lot. I learnt all about lego robotics 2 and the tutors made it a fun experience as they would always help you if you were confused or if you wanted to improve your program. 5 stars!

Why I liked FunTech.

I started the week not knowing what to expect, but when I came here, I knew I would have fun when we were given a box and told start building, and when I finished, i was told i could improve on the robot. The activities that followed were challenging but fun and have taught me a lot about coding ...

I started the week not knowing what to expect, but when I came here, I knew I would have fun when we were given a box and told start building, and when I finished, i was told i could improve on the robot. The activities that followed were challenging but fun and have taught me a lot about coding in a fun and nurturing environment that helped us all learn, along with letting us customize our robots. All this made it the greatest tech camp in the world, and probably the universe.

Summer camp

This is the best lego robotics camp i have ever been to. FunTech is so cool i recommend to everyone and Gabriel is the best teacher ever.

My review for Funtech robotics level 2

Funtech Robotic Level 2 is really cool we build and we program. We are amused with the animator and for those who want they can create a program of combat and improve their robot.

Its good im doing redstone for a week or two after this and I had allot of fun when we got to mods there are a lot of good camps in the world and this is one of them [; and I hope for no trouble for the teachers, but not Benjie LOL

This camp school is awesome! Because the tutor lets us try out new stuff and we are able to learn how to use the computer. It is great for people that always like to have fun, and wants to improve something! it has great teaching skills, in the end you will know much more then before!

Funtech was really good. I love minecraft and mods. I have always wanted to make mods and because of funtech I can.

We started off with the very basics of Java coding, and opened up a programming software called Eclipse. Throughout the week we went through a series of different things to learn, ranging from easy to more difficult. We started off with things like \"User Input\" and progressed onto things like \"Arrays\", that were more difficult. I found that when we started a new topic, at first I literally had no idea what was going on, but then two or three topics later I began to understand said topic. I FOUND IT EXTREMELY CHALLENGING!!! . Overall I think the software and quality of the product provided by Funtech was top notch.


I think that my tutor was very good (APART FROM THE JOKES!!!), and stopped the banter and conversations when they went too far. He is also very good and helpful.


We have two 15 minute breaks per day, both either side of the one hour and a half lunch break. All of the total two hours of break between 9am and 5pm were strictly enforced as \"tech free\". I understand that most of my colleagues did not agree with the tech free rules, however I liked it because if you think about it we have around 6 and a half hours of tech and that is unhealthy for the average age of students taking part in Funtech classes. In 15 minute breaks we chatted with each other and ate our packed lunches (remember to pack a lot of food!!!) At lunch, if the weather is satisfactory we go out to the local park and have a kick around with footballs or have organised games of C.T.F (Capture the flag) etc... If the weather appeared to be unsatisfactory, then we would all eat lunch and watch films.


I felt that we still got on with a substantial amount of work; in-fact the only reason that I gave a rating of 4.5 stars was that sometimes I felt that the banter went too far (sometime my fault!!!)


Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Funtech, and would thoroughly recommend it to all tech enthusiasts or people that just want to have some leisurely fun and learn some very important things along the way!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at FunTech. What made the experience better was the fact that my tutor THE GODLY GODLIKE ST NICHOLAS has great banter so I found him very likeable. BEWARE: THE BANTER BAR MAY REACH TERMINAL VELOCITY!!! 5/5. I found the content easier than most people as I have done coding before, however my tutor gave me extra stuff to do when I finished everything. The course was designed for beginners in coding. I did enjoy the week as I LOVE CODING 5/5. The course was really fun as THE GODLY GODLIKE ST NICHOLAS is very knowledgeable in coding so helped me if I asked challenging questions. 5/5. The breaks were questionable to say the least..... they were tech free which was rather annoying. If we didn't got to the park we watched frozen and minions.
Overall, I have found my time at Funtech to be rewarding and I thoroughly recommend it to all aspiring coders ";
