Best Camp I have ever been to!

I started the Camp with High expectations and it was even better than I thought it would be.
I enjoyed thoroughly learning new code every day. Our tutor, Ben made it really exciting for us and helped me whenever I needed it.
I had an amazing week. My final product was amazing thanks to my tutor. My parents were really proud of me as well.
My only problem was that the electronic tutorials were to fast for my liking.
Overall, it was flawless.

3d game design

This course was amazing. I really enjoyed everything about it, from the coding to the design.
I found out about Fun tech when my brother tried it in 2018. He recommended it to me and I am glad he did!
According to me it was the best week of my summer holiday

We made a teleporter and our own level! this has told me a lot about screening, we played some games and had a chance to play each others levels. However, the break times are boring because you don't get to go outside but this is a good learning camp.

Everything about it was so fun. The break times were so fun, most of the time we played capture the flag. But price could be a bit less.

3D Designs are interesting and rewarding

It was short and fun, and filled with information. I have learnt a lot about 3D game designs and am able to make my own 3D games succesfully. The days are eventful and amazing and it is an unforgettable experience.

i give it a 4 1/2 starts

the camp was great but the process was a quite experience and slow at the start.

Great fun and learning

The course was great. I enjoyed it; it was fun but I also learnt a lot. The teacher was very good. He taught me well while also allowing me to experiment with the many different features. I recommend this camp very much. It was great fun!

I really enjoyed the practical, academic side of this camp. It was complex, stimulating, and the subject material was fascinating. I feel I have learnt a lot over the course of the week that I will be able to take forward with me, both career and school wise, but also about online safety in general. The group size was also perfect for the activity.
Tom was also a really good teacher, and made sure to give us each enough time to finish, and answering all our -occasionally quite random -queries.
the only downside I have was that on the first day, i felt slightly uncomfortable, as there was no ice-breaker to help me connect with the other kids on the course. I think, in future, giving up part of the day just to get to know a bit more about everyone else would be useful. In addition, at times I felt like i really needed to just go outside and take a break rather than being glued to the screen, so possibly during the breaks leaving the room and enforced away-from-the-laptop times would be brilliant.

Overall, however, this was an excellent camp and experience, and I'd very happily return to Funtech and do a different course.

Good course for people who have passion for cyber security.

I think the course is very fun. It is filled with very easy to understand topics which we could use. Anything that we didn't understand our tutor would help us.

I would recommend this to other people who would want to go into cyber security.

This is awesome! The staff are nice and helpful, everything can be explained easily by them, and you can make anything for your mods.

EXCITING CAMP

I like this camp because you learn a lot about making mods and i enjoyed making anything with a destructive power. i liked being with fun tech because they make the day fun with activity's in the class, i would definitely come again.

Touch typing made fun!

My son has had a great week at the Touch Typing with FunTyper course and it is great that we as parents are able to see what they have been up to all week! I think you should run courses like this for adults ;-)

The class and tutors were engaging and tentative. A great class for youngsters to begin and ground in the basics of a useful life skill.

I have done 2 Funtech courses in the past and undoubtedly this has been the best camp I have done so far. Some concepts are sometimes difficult to grip but after a while you get used to them. Lewis has been amazing at teaching this topic. I am going to embrace on what I have learnt and use it much more. I enjoyed finding the passwords and getting into the terminals the most. I would happily do another camp again (if I am old enough)

i learned to hack!!!

it was very interesting as i got to learn to hack and it was very indulging and the tutor was very good

It was educational. I learnt about basic commands on the command prompt, how to crack passwords and how to hack into another server. The teacher was very friendly and good at teaching us how to hack. The course was overall very fun.

Cyber Security: Hackathon

A very good course. A lot of content which can be used in the real world which can lead to a job in the real world. It is challenging so it is probably easier if you have done another funtech before this to help you understand some of the concepts.

I learnt a lot during this course... would definitely recommend this for other children interested into hacking into other computers etc.
One thing i would change: If there are two tutors, split the group into two groups on the SECOND day not the fourth.

Good Learning Experience

Throughout the week I learnt a series of different exploits , commands and other Linux programs .
I learnt allot and would truely recommend it to other young people who are aspiring to learn more about computers.

An amazing week

It was good and i enjoyed it however i think the days were a bit too long and it should only run for max 7 hours. Apart from that the teachers were exceptional and they should be given a promotion frankly especially Sam and Daruis .

Cyber Security Review

we did very interesting stuff related to hacking and many different ways to hack into machines. the teachers were nice and the breaks were long enough, the best thing in the breaks was shooting footballs :)

Fun Tech Review

It was good because you learned all about coding and coding games. You got to test out the games and if they are really good they can be really fun to play.

funtech is quite good for learning touch typing, and I have definitely improved my typing. I liked how we started off with a few letters and slowly built up to doing the whole keyboard, however sometimes the wifi failed and i think that points shouldnt be taken away for doing the wrong thing (e.g. wrong posture) they should be given for doing the right thing as that makes people more motivated. overall i think that funtyper is extremely useful for learning touchtyping and only a few things need to be changed.
