REALLY COOL Camp

we learnt a lot about linux and we were taught how to use many features of Kali (a VM) and exploit them in different ways.

Best camp ever

The camp was really fun and was made easy to understand because we went through everything step by step . The tutor was extremely helpful.

i don't know what to call this.

i liked it to an extent. the tutors are really understanding and helpful. however the breaks are really long and there's not much to do. the course is a bit confusing but other than that i enjoyed meeting new people. :)

I really enjoyed learning about john the ripper, hydra Etc (although i did not know why i came) i still really enjoyed it

The teacher (Clement) is really good and he helps you when ever you get stuck.
The video tutorials are very good and are much better than anything you could find online.

good course =)

Good course and many good staff aswell as very cool things to be taught! I personally think making your own games is a very rare expiuerence, but at funtech you CAN DO IT FOR A WHOLE WEEK! Overall five stars.

Best Summer Camp I Have Been To

At my school, we barely get taught any Computer Science, which is bad since it is my favourite subject! But when I heard about this I knew I had to take part. FunTech is in so many locations that there is always going to be one near you. I chose Java since I love to code and want to be a game design

At my school, we barely get taught any Computer Science, which is bad since it is my favourite subject! But when I heard about this I knew I had to take part. FunTech is in so many locations that there is always going to be one near you. I chose Java since I love to code and want to be a game designer. I kept on wishing it would come sooner. When I arrived, after a couple of hours, I knew I was going to learn a lot that would stick with me for life. I enjoy everything about this camp! The breaks, the computers, the way they teach, the teachers and much more. The teachers are really helpful when coding and definitely show that they care for you and your safety, as well. I would love to do it again as there is so much to do it was hard to pick what course I wanted. Hopefully, when I go back to school (and eventually get Computer Science lessons) I will blow everyone away with how much I learnt!

I enjoyed this camp.It taught me how to touch type (which is a life skill).Although the games where a little boring ,frustrating, exhausting and annoying ,it was totally worth it.

Thanks to this camp ,I'm now a touch typing expert!!!!!!!!!!!

Spectacular Week!

When I first came in I did not know how to touch type at all but after one day Ben had already taught me to type half the keyboard. I loved this camp and it was worth the money! I would definitely recommend this to kids who want to be quicker (and better) than their parents. Great coding camp in leg

AMAZING CAMP!

I enjoyed the camp some games were hard but ounce you improved your muscle memory it got much easier the teachers were very nice and new what they were doing.

This camp is very educational and is fun at the same time. Before I came to this camp and now I have learn't how to touch type and my typing has got much faster.

Great First Steps into Hacking

I had a lot of fun on this course, learning about the linux system as well as some of the techniques hackers use to get into systems that aren't protected properly. The staff were very helpful and challenged us if we found it easier at any points.

Funtech was really fun because I learnt a lot of things that I can make on Minecraft.

I learnt a lot in this course, the tutors are friendly and the course is straight-forward and easy to follow. It's nice if everyone pays attention and help each other!

Would Recommend!

I think this course is great because it teaches you how to touch type which will really help me in later life. The only thing i would change would be to make the games slightly more rewarding, but apart from that I would strongly recommend this course.

Funtyper Review

The course is quite boring as the first days you do the same days over and over again. The next couple of days are quite good but are still a bit boring. The teachers Ben and Muneet were very funny and the best teachers i've had at a holiday camp.

This camp was really exiting!

Amazing

Hackathon is so fun. You learn how to hack. Like breaking passwords using brute force methods and logging into other computers by using an ip address. Also the tutors are really helpful and make it enjoyable.

hackathon

i think that funtech hackathon north wood has greatly improved my skills for hacking using virtual box. My tutor clement has been a huge asset for my success in the hackathon classes. i have made many friends which is great to see that hackathon has such a welcoming environment.

when i first came to this camp i was sooooo worried that i wouldn't make any Friends but then i found one and her name is Marianna and she gave me the confidence i needed so i gave my self a push and now i am on stage 6

Java coding for a week

I liked learning the code, even if I wasn't good at some of it, it was tons of fun and it was very interesting to learn how to make shopping lists and a fully functioning calculator.

It was super good

it was amazing now I can type without looking at the keyboard

it was a really fun week and i learned how to create games and play them. We learned how to make a 2D game and different things which would do different e.g kill you or make your block transparent. i will give this camp 5/5. the reason is i REALLLLLY enjoyed it.
