Happy I'm now a Minecraft Engineer

I am happy because I did not know everything that I learnt on the course. I enjoyed using Minecraft Java. Thank you for teaching me Callum.

The course was good.

I recommend this course if you like to design and fairly simple code. I recommend the virtual machine if your laptop can't handle unreal engine.

Great Course!

I enjoyed learning how to make games using python and pygame. I especially liked learning how to use functions and classes to make our lives easier, saving us time, code and memory.

I like learning new traps and combining them with logic gates I enjoyed using Minecarts to make clocks and making item sorters and haunted houses. I think that it was a bit boring at times and I think the days are too long and in future I would like to be given more Ideas of things we can make.

Python Game Developer Two Week afternoon course

The course stared off a bit slow as they had to teach us the basics of python but once we started the Pygame topic is was really good and enjoyable

It was alright but a bit challenging

Overall I enjoyed this funtech experience although at times I felt as though I was left behind. This was due to the fact hat it took me a long time to grasp what I was being taught. This problem was quickly resolved as I was moved to another webinar with my brother. This really helped and aided me .

I enjoyed the lessons although they were a bit difficult.

The teachers really tried to help me throughout the course as it was my first time coding and I was not as experience as the other coders. Nevertheless it was still very useful and I was able to understand a large majority of the course in a short period of time.

I found the topic of arrays slightly boring and repetitive, but that is just my personal preference. Overall, I don't have any complaints!

I really enjoyed being with Funtech and I would have chosen 5 star but why I didn't do that because no one is perfect in the world. In school my teacher make the work very hard but Funtech made it 100% easy! Even though I don't like sitting here for hours I still enjoyed it. I hope I can come back to Funtech in the future but not on mine craft as am an expert now

it was fun and i learned a lot but at times one student was very annoying. it disturbed my learning a lot but other than that i was happy.

i did the python coding course and i really enjoyed it. It is great if you need a refresh or are a beginner. Everything was explained well and easy to follow. For the first part of the course you learn basic functions and towards the end make your own projects or you can do some of the set challenge

An insightful Course

This course was not particularly life-changing to me, it was quite slow, and i often found myself ahead of the other students, but it still provided a lot of knowledge and was helpful in the development of my game.

It was great fun and it adapted to are requests very well. the only reason it is not 5 star is because at the start it did not properly cover how to get set up.

Very fun, quite challangeing

the past to weeks have been very fun and i strongly suggest you try it. It's so fun to learn to code, but sometimes i found it a bit hard to keep up.

The course was fun and it was nice to be able to put graphics with code to make more games.

I really enjoyed the course. I would have liked to get more done but we ran out of time to do some of the extra things i would have liked to get done. I have learnt lots more about python which i really wanted to.

Course Review Great

Overall, the course was really good. We learnt a lot of new code and was taught well. It was slow a few times when we had a few problems but other than that I enjoyed it.

It was good and I got through it well but I think maybe one longer break instead of two short break would better as you can't do much in 15 minutes. The virtual machine disconnected quite often aswell.

As a Roblox Player and not - so experienced builder/programmer on Roblox Studio, this camp helped me learn. I wanted to make a city/roleplay game, and this helped me aim towards that. What I think is so good about this camp is that the teachers show you how to do things, but do not tell you the answers, unless you are stuck. This is good because in the future if we want to make a game, we will not have them, so we will need to remember ourselves how to do it. Overall, I enjoyed the tutors and the camp. I would only make the screen breaks a little longer.

This was achieved by how interactive this course was , and quite surprisingly so as it was online. However, interactive does not mean fun, and this course was not exactly fun. Because that would not be possible. But the end project was. It was a really fun way to end the course, and I really liked this. However, what massively let it down was that I could not view the content myself. This was a big shame, and I think the course would really benefit from that. If that changes, I would heavily recommend this course anytime.

There's one slight thing I didn't like is that I wasn't allowed to tell one of the kids my MC user or Roblox user, when it's a PUBLIC profile! I'd feel like it should be the other's kids decision if they want to say the same

I'd feel like it should be the other's kids decision if they want to say the same or not or their parents should decide, cause their parents didn't pay for the kids to learn, it's a summer camp. What if someone made good friends with someone and now they can't talk to each other after camp is done? The rest of the camp was still good. Just that tiny thing is what I didn't like. The teacher was good and getting the other kids and myself to understand.

I feel i have come a long way this week with computer science. i started out not even being able to even write a print statement but now i can do much more. it has been a good week.

Roblox camp

I loved this course it was fun and really cool I think this because the tutor was very encouraging and helped us when we needed it. I got through loads and learnt lots of thing about roblox and roblox studios.

Almost Perfect

The course was very fun. I think to improve you should maybe decrease the number of quizzes but other than that it was amazing. I feel like I learned a lot from it and I will get into developing a game on Roblox much easier!

I found my work quite pleasing after this experience of funtech even though I have just started coding using unreal. But during the course I found I went through many problems in my code 3/5 of them were me trying to find something. In the end I made a game that worked properly and functioned as I wanted, after making my game I realised that I could have achieved quite a good game if I learned more. So overall my experience of funtech is about in the middle 3/5 and 4/5.
