Fun most of the time. Very tiring due to long days.

Funtech, An experince you won`t forget.

Overall, This week was packed with fun and gave me lots of stuff to do to keep me happy. The only problomes were that it was far away for me and also it was really sunny. I will recommend this for 7-13yr olds. The reason for this is we use a slightly complicated coding thing called "unreal engine".

I will recommend this for 7-13yr olds. The reason for this is we use a slightly complicated coding thing called "unreal engine". The pepole there are funny and friedly. The teachers explain coding in just a week. The cost is a bit expencive however worth every single penny. Please come to funtech to have an awsome time!

I liked the course as it taught me a lot about coding in Minecraft. The teachers and videos were good and now I know a lot more about coding in general. 8/10

Amazing Course

This is an amazing course. It helps us learn how to truly hack. It also teaches us how to protect ourselves against hackers. I will consider to do another course. Although, it had some problems with unmannered peers. Although we still learned the whole course and it was amazing. Thank you!

It was a very good term and I learnt a lot from it the tutor was very nice.

During my Funtech course I learned lots of new skills, it was really fun to learn about the different designing apps and platforms that we used. I enjoyed working with photoshop and illustrator most it was a really fun experience and i have used them outside of the course.

It was good. I learned a lot.

Enjoyed it

I enjoyed animating a lot and have learned new things. One thing I dont like though is the constant reminder for feedback and that every lesson must have feedback.

Funtech was a cool course which sometimes cheers me up on Saturday Mornings, the reason why I gave it a 4/5 was because the first term, when we were learning about Photoshop, I didn't think it was for me, I was only good at editing photos and pictures, I even help my dad edit his photos, but I just feel like the other things were very confusing, although just recently, I have been drawing a feather on photoshop which has made me more confident, although we finished photoshop long ago. My mother encouraged me to make animations with Adobe but I could only make simple ones with motion tweening, so I did the harder way and half finished a walking bear's animation in which I lost interest in. I must admit, my favourite adobe app has to be Adobe Dreamweaver, I've created my own website just for a novel I'm writing on word. I created the website which contains information about my novel and I pasted the link in the prologue chapter of my document.

I really liked the Pure coder 1 class and most of the classes were interesting, and it's fun to think about how some games would work with Pycharm, I had a good time with my classmates and teacher. Happy summer.

The content of this course was interesting and I learned how to code a lot of different elements such as creating a server and clients.
Each lesson was a little bit too short for the content we had to cover so we were sometimes behind the unit number

All of the lessons have been highly engaging, the teachers interesting and the content is succinct and understandable. Lessons are long, but time seems to fly while learning. Overall, lessons have been very good, and the work is covered well. However, the homework has very high redo standards

However, the homework has very high redo standards (not even 90% overall, 90% for each question), and necessitates multiple redos for each submission.
This can easily pile up and be demotivating.
But, overall, the course has been interesting, covered well, and is great.

Despite that however I find it a bit cumbersome to have type reviews every lesson as it is hard to give meaningful feedback and it is a tad bit annoying. Otherwise from that, this was a really great experience and am glad to have been a part of it.

My year at FunTech

It has been a brilliant year with topic ranging from Music to Film Editing to coding platformer games. Our teacher, has been super kind, helpful and very nice. We learnt a lot, and I have learnt a lot.

Funtech PureCoder Level 2

It was very fun. I learnt a lot about python and I can now code fluently in python. We made many projects and we learnt about classes, Tkinter, Graphs, Queues and Stacks.

Interesting but difficult

An interesting course about gaming in python but a lot of code needs to be memorised. Quite a bit of content and time needs to be spent learning it all. It is very intriguing to learn.

The Tutor was great and clearly knew a lot more than what was needed, so that was really great.
I did get lost along the way a few times but I understood what was going on in general quite confidently just the little small things were what sometimes confused me.
Can't wait to continue FunTech next year, though that isn't Purecoder, I'm certain it will be just as good.
I think what would be cool would be to have a game we plan on building in the end, and adding to the same file(s) every week and slowly building up to one big game at the end, rather than tons of smaller units and files.
Thanks a lot for a great year in which we covered a lot of content.

I feel like over the year, I have learned a lot due to Funtech whether it be easy or hard material but overall, the whole year has been great. FunTech Java Camp helped me so much during the holidays, as I learned lots of new codes and techniques of Java. Usually, I do Python but now this is something else and it is interesting that it is an another coding platform/software. There is lots of different types of coding variables that is not in Python. During this insane journey of learning Java, I have been amazed by how much this could improve my coding skills and help me with my future. Learning different types of coding platforms will inspire me and make me becoming a professional coder. As well as learning new things. This was a fun course and I learned a lot. But the problem was is that I would sometimes have to get water or leave the workspace to do something that wasn't in the break and end up not getting what we were doing and sometimes having to wait 10 minutes for people to catch up on each exercise. This was a fun course and I learned a lot. But the problem was is that I would sometimes have to get water or leave the workspace to do something that wasn't in the break and end up not getting what we were doing and sometimes having to wait 10 minutes for people to catch up on each exercise. But all the same it was okay and there were no rude comments or being left out on something. I would recommend this course to people who have never done coding before and want to try it so they won't get bored on the first day. I appreciate the effort FunTech has put in to help me figure out if I should go to the next level or stay in this course.

A really interesting and fun camp!

I thought the course helped me a lot and I learnt how to code python for the first time. This was all really interesting that I want to show my family and teach them some python too. Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understand.

Our teacher was kind and really helpful to the class when we were struggling with bits that we didn't understand. He was always on time when coming back from the breaks and worked hard to give extra time to teach people parts they were stuck on (eg When I struggled he told me to come into the meet 30 minutes before the lesson started and helped me with bits I did not understand). If someone didn't finish something he would explain how to do the code and then give him/her his code and tell them what they could do better next time.

This was a really good experience for me and thank you so much for the lessons and teaching me lots of new and interesting things.

Thank you so much and I hope we might meet again when doing the FunTech camp again!

It was a really fun course I enjoyed it a lot. I learned a lot of new codes. But I didn't really like giving feedback everyday.

FunTech Python OOP was great

The course was very entertaining and engaging but the screen sharing software doesn't like my computer. The classes are small enough for individual attention and there is no stress about getting helped

Great Experience

WOW! is the only word that could possibly describe this course. It is one of the best experiences I've had (not to mention now I can tell my mum I learn when I play minecraft). On the first day of the course, in the morning, I thought it was gonna be really boring because we were watching videos how to play minecraft (as an experienced minecraft player i found this very dull) but in the afternoon we started coding and i had so much fun. In the week things I only dreamed of being able to do on minecraft such as: build minigames, make a robot build for me and much more. I found that having such a small group of people in the course made it easier for the teacher to help us and made sure no-one didn't get help and support. This was my first course with funtech but I assure myself i will do more in the future. I play minecraft a lot so now i will be able to show my friends all the experience I've gained. i am so pround of how i have grown in this past week.
