Virtual 3D gaming

My son loved this course, I was worried he might be a bit fed up at the end of the two weeks but he said it went by really quickly and he was completely engaged with every lesson.

We will be back for another course next holidays!

My child really enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Initially, the group was too big with not enough trainers, which made it difficult to progress. One yp had special needs and was sometimes disruptive to the rest of the group. Would have been better to have additional trainers. That being said,

Hey FunTech! This has been an amazing week from being the only girl in my class to having loads of friends in the span of 5 days. The staff/instructors/teachers have been amazing, they are very kind and helpful, giving you advice whenever you need it. 3D Game Design has been an amazing course with learning the technical and 'non-technical' parts of it with making our own blueprints with Boolean and Float variables and making teleporters to making simple-yet-effective buildings and houses! And outside of all this every day we had a great time playing football, kickball and rounders. The outdoor space and freedom is great to have. I want to thank Lewis and Isaac for taking the time to entertain us!
The Final Project has been a bit stressful and put pressure on people to create the best ideas and game but its just having fun, learning and enjoying the week. I have loved it and want to continue with this course next year and hopefully I can learn how to make A.I. characters as I couldn't do it this session.

I would also like to say to any girls who fancy tech to give this course a go; or even just do a week in FunTech, whether you're alone like me or with a bunch of other girls to just try it because its so amazing and exciting.

Thankyou, FunTech for letting me do this course! And thankyou Lewis and Charles for teaching us. It really was FUN Tech :)

My fun time at FunTech

My experience was incredible and the tutors were helping me with all of my laptop issues but my experience was ruined by one person, George.

good but not amazing

i found the length a day a little long but i got a lot done and i had a good time i learnt a great amount i think that the teachers were great i had a good time but some times the teachers werent as knowlegable as i would hope i think overall good but not amazing as it says in the title

FunTech 3D Game Design Holyport 05/08/22 Review.

Out of every summer camp that I've been to, FunTech was the best. The instructors were helpful, the equipment was great and my 3D Game Design course was absolutely amazing. I would definitely come here again.

Alright, get ready for an essay.
I've done funtech 3 times, and out of all of those times, 3D game design was the most fun. It was engaging, fun, and I made some friends. I enjoyed alot learning how to make 3D games using unreal engine. I had an amazing time and I loved the pack lunches the most :)

Amazing show! As an american I do love the USA version much much more but this show is also pretty hilarious. The courses, richard. Its all amazing! And I like how total wipeout sometimes comes up with their own obstacles like that dodgeball one with the towers the beams! Amazing show would recommen

Great experience, very supportive and kind tutors, I have learnt a lot and it was amazing, most of the students were very kind and supportive

The only bad experience were a few students who were very disruptive.

3d games design course

it was really fun and i would want to carry this on, making parkour was my favourite part and would do anything do do it for a hole week

I liked this camp I would come back.

I enjoyed this camp a lot. I enjoyed this camp more than the others (Lego robotics, Minecraft redstone and Roblox game developer). The tutor was really nice and helpful.

Didn't start off well but ended up loving it

At the start of the week, I did not find this course very enjoyable. I found the software overly glitchy and complicated and the video tutorials were hard to follow. In addition, it seemed like 3 groups had been merged as there were 19 people in our group and 3 tutors. However, on Day 3, our group w

At the start of the week, I did not find this course very enjoyable. I found the software overly glitchy and complicated and the video tutorials were hard to follow. In addition, it seemed like 3 groups had been merged as there were 19 people in our group and 3 tutors. However, on Day 3, our group was split in two and it was a lot better. Luckily, I was on the group with 2 tutors so all of my queries were answered quickly. Our tutors now paused and explained the tutorials as we went along which allowed me to learn more. My tutors were incredibly helpful and supportive. Overall, I have really enjoyed this week and have created a pretty good game

I would like to say thank you to my teacher Jamie as he coped very well with the crazy person in the class who didn't do any work and messed around too much. Jamie helped me learn how to use Unreal Game Designs and explained the things that didn't work.

it was fun and i would come again if the minecraft cources allowed 14 year olds and 3dx was very fun as i have never made a good game before :)

Didn't think I would learn so much is such a short time, really pleased.

It was very fun and I learned tons of things about Unreal Engine 4 in just a week! The teachers were really nice and supportive too! If anybody wanted to start using Unreal Engine they should go to this camp!

You are all amazing and caring. I enjoyed learning how to teleport and make phrases pop up when you walk into a serten areas. you are funny and helpful thank you for helping me make 2 level. Yellow is the best coler and Purple is the second best. byeeeeeee

I enjoyed how the tutors explained everything and how they helped students with all of the issues they had while keeping the class calm and focused. I also enjoyed how the course was planned with all the basics first and how the more complicated things were later on, I enjoyed the pace of the video

I also enjoyed how the course was planned with all the basics first and how the more complicated things were later on, I enjoyed the pace of the videos where we had enough time to understand what it was explaining while still being able to repeat it with relative ease, I extremely enjoyed how we were able to use our creativity to make games while still following the course and getting help from the tutors, I apricated how the tutors were very knowledgeable about our topic and had every answer to every question.

At the end of the 2 weeks we made our final project we used everything that we had learnt and made our very own games.

Funtech camp review

This camp was very fun to do and learning how to use different parts of unreal engine like part placing, landscaping and blueprint scripting were easy and fun to understand and use. It seemed like it went past faster than it did (in a good way) and was very enjoyable.

Unreal Engine Course Review

I absolutely loved this course. It has taught me how to master the basics of Unreal Engine and I have had a fabulous time doing so. My tutor was amazing, really friendly and engaging, and I had such a good time.

We had amassed a large amount Childcare Vouchers over the past few years, which we needed to off-load before our children got too old. We were looking for something that might be appropriate for our son, who is 11, loves gaming, and has been looking for a way to level-up from Scratch and Roblox for a while now - and this seemed to fit the bill. He was a bit dubious at first though - "this feels a bit like school" - he said when I dropped him off on the first day, and he had a point. When I picked him up at the end of the first day, he was very tired - it was a long day for him. He told me it was "good", but the last two hours were a bit boring. I started to get a bit worried about the rest of the week. When I picked him up at the end of the second day he was much happier and told me that he didn't get bored at the end of the day this time. On the third day, he was tired, but absolutely buzzing when I picked him up, and he was surprised at how fast the day had gone. By Thursday he was really into it, and was telling me all about the game he was making which had 5 different endings. At the end of Friday we had a show-and-tell, where the children were able to show their parents what they had made, and transfer their projects onto USB thumb-drives to take home with them.

Overall I think our son was very happy with the experience, and he has learnt a lot - I think I will have to try and get him to teach me some Unreal now. Thank you!
