I did the mornings from 9-12:30 for two weeks, this was probably the better option as then you wouldn't be sitting in front of a computer for a few extra hours. I have truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend and do it again if I had the chance. This wasn't one of those courses where you just copy from the tutor, this was one where you actually learned and could put that to good use. The tutor was very funny and wasn't boring one single bit. 10/10

This python oop virtual day camp really helped me grow my python learning skills and now I can create some amazing things

I learned a ton in these lessons! My tutor kept things quite engaging and explained everything very thoroughly. Sometimes I found myself waiting around for a bit, but that was fine.

This course helped me learn a lot that I didn't know and that is thanks to the program itself but mostly the teacher. I will remember this as one of the greatest classes I've ever had

I was able to learn more about working on python using GUI's on tkinter, drawing faces/ shapes on python too. This has helped me understand computer science alot better and will help me with my computer science GCSE next year

My son had a brilliant week at the Tonbridge camp. The camp was really well organised, the guys running it were brilliant with the kids and seemed to have as much fun as the kids. I had forgotten to tell them one day that my son was going home with one of his friends on the course, and the camp leader called me to check it was ok as he'd heard from the boys this was happening, which I was really impressed with. My son absolutely loved the Minecraft- Modder course, he tells me he wants to go the camp every year until he's too old to go anymore! The location was fab for us, and being in an air conditioned room during the hot weather was a massive bonus! Only wish there was an option for a 4 day course, to fit around my working days.

Riaan enjoyed it very much and we thought it was great as well. He was very interested and created a game for his Dad’s birthday. So full marks for motivating the children.

My son enjoyed the beginner Python coding course

My son really enjoyed the course and made some friends. He made his own text based adventure game and is pretty excited about it. Looking forward to the next course.
Only one minor concern was that he had some connection issues but this was also experienced by others on the course.

Fantastic python coding course

My daughter took the beginners level python course and absolutely loved it. It was set at just the right level for her and she's keen on doing the next level.

Cyber Security Hackathon

My child really enjoyed this course. He has attended quite a few over the years eg Python, Java etc but he really loved this one. I would definitely recommend these courses.

Very good experience

My son attended Python Coder summer camp in Northwood and he loved it. He seems to have gained quite a bit of knowledge about Python and will definitely come back for level 2 sometime later.

3 D game design

My son really enjoyed his week of 3D game design. It went so quickly and he really looked forward to each day. He learnt a lot and ended the week with a brilliant game.

Tutor was amazing

My son loved this course, I was worried he might be a bit fed up at the end of the two weeks but he said it went by really quickly and he was completely engaged with every lesson.

AI Virtual Camp

Our son thoroughly enjoyed the AI virtual camp. The machine learning, neural networks and deep learning were explained very well.

Class was challenging at times for my 7yo as not used to focus on a class for half a day but managed through it. Some days the content seemed more interesting to her hence a good half day other times mostly at beginning she had more difficulty staying on the course topic.
The trainer had immense patience with her and the others in the class.
Warmly recommend it.
Mine wanted me around her whilst she did the class but every child is different.

My son found Python- Level 1 easy so we had to contact Funtech in a hurry. At 9 on the following morning, the worker was very professional and kind, asking Eric a series of questions to judge his caliber for his second level. All was fine.

The teacher was nice and kind to him and he helped my son efficiently. So effectively that my son told me 'we are covering enough of Python this week to last me to next year: his final GCSE computing exam.

Funtech is worth every penny I pay. Keep up the good work

Funtech camp was an enjoyable, educational experience where I leant a lot about redstone and minecraft. The teachers are always helpful and are great at explaining things.

VERY GOOD

BEST COURSE EVER YAY. This was very fun and our tutor was helpful and solved problems we ran into. The learning was in bitesized quantities. it would be good if we could learn about dispensers, slime, honey, observers etc. But overall this course was very very good.

Very fun

I liked it very much because of what they teach you. Most the topics were interesting although sometimes it was a bit too simple. I liked the quizzes as they created a social atmosphere and the tutor was very patient and very nice.

The 2 weeks I spent learning python via FunTech was definitely worth the time and effort as I learnt a plethora of new things that I didn’t know before. Not only did I learn a vast amount of helpful, useful and meaningful code, the course that my class followed was very well structured and easy to follow. Of course, everyone in our group struggled on certain aspects such as using lists or classes but, in the end, we were all able to write our own codes for ourselves and even use the aspects we struggled on to help us write our codes. I think the best part of this learning experience is that you always have the teacher there to help you at just at the raise of a hand!

All in all, I am very satisfied with my FunTech experience and will hopefully attend this class next summer.

I think the course succeeded in what it set out to do, it taught us the basics of python coding and allowed us to use our newfound knowledge while helping us when we had problems. It was engaging and it was hard to get bored as they challenged us well.

Fun tech lesson

I really enjoyed my lesson. Although I absolutely hated the difficultly of most topics my teacher (Kevin) made my struggle enjoyable and also made the end product so much better and the dopamine output of my achievements whole heartedly felt like my very own like overcoming a massive wall

Very detailed programming course revolving around OOP in Python. It has been beneficial for enhancing my python skills, especially regarding GUI. Anything that was complicated was made sure to look over again and ensure everyone understood it. A lack of camera's on action is slightly recurrent throughout all funtech courses, and I think that if they made it compulsory it would mean that students get less distracted by mobile phones, diverting their attention 100% to the course.
