this residential camp has changed my perspective of minecraft overall i think funtech is an amazing company

the perfect camp

This camp is the best camp I've ever seen, I like coding and I like Minecraft, especially mods.

GOOD

Ummm. It was fun. And uhh. It was On top of my average coding. Sooo. Now I find it EASY to do coding I couldn't do before. It was good and all. But my favourite bit was LUNCH! But the time. IT'S EVEN LONGER THAN SCHOOL! But it was really cool. And I will look forward to forcing my mum...

fun funtech experience :)

I am glad that I joined this week-long camp. I learned a lot about Python this week and, despite some difficult algorithms to learn, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to Funtech, I am now able to write complex pieces of Python code. I wish I could do it again!

it was fun / amazing i loved it

Brilliant Coding

On the first day I was very nervous but as it progressed I felt better and better. I made friends and thought the coding overall was good. They are very creative and the projects are very fun. It was more fun than work.

My week learning Python with Funtech

Funtech is a very fun camp for a range of ages that teach you how to use python, while helping and guiding through what one doesn't understand. Their camp is suberb for beginners as well as more exeperienced campers since they will always show something new that you can do with Python

They will take your money and will not accommodate your needs! I have just experienced the most appalling customer service with this company and am absolutely disgusted with their lack of empathy towards customers. Had my son booked on to attend a course, however due to rail strikes it is not po...

They will take your money and will not accommodate your needs!
I have just experienced the most appalling customer service with this company and am absolutely disgusted with their lack of empathy towards customers. Had my son booked on to attend a course, however due to rail strikes it is not possible to take him into central London so I requested a refund, this was refused however I then asked for a credit note as I’d be happy to rebook for another suitable time, yet this was still refused. So they are just willing to take my money and no offer of resolution for a situation that is out of our control?! I cannot comprehend how any company can treat their customers in this manner and be able to operate. We have attended a course with Funtech pre pandemic and was more than happy to return for another course but with such absolute appalling customer services and no flexibility for situations that cannot be controlled, this company should not be allowed to operate. Their advice was to ‘did you get insurance?’ So where on their website does it advise to take out insurance prior to making a booking? Best advice for anyone considering booking a course with Funtech is ‘don’t’, all they care about is taking your money and have no empathy or consideration for their customers!!! I’ll be looking to take further action on this appalling experience

Fun tech was probably the best camp i have been to. The staff are friendly and helpful, they make learning fun, interesting and i met a lot of really nice people. Overall i would definitely come here again

I had a very enjoyable experience. I completed the residential hackathon course and it was really worth while. We learnt about the Linux operating system, ad the basics of its operations. I learnt a lot and hope to use my newly learned knowledge later on in life.

I have to say the entertainment and social side of the course wasn't completely tailored for slightly older kids 14-16, but I did make friends and thoroughly enjoyed the time. Tutors were FAB!.

Once again I recommend this course, for the experience gained along with the course learning.

I have had fun

I loved it!

I loved it here, each day we learned something new and we did a project. And at the last day we created some sort of game and we made our parents play it.
I highly recommend going to FunTech.

This week was real fun. Even though the classes were [at first] a little boring, these last days just have been amazing. Our teachers were really cool and nice, and they explained the stuff so we could understand it easily.
In the residence I had really cool roommates, but it was sad that my friend Sofia had COVID so she couldn't come. Anyways, it was amazing with them. It was nice, too, that the last night like EVERYONE was on sugar rush so we were running through the residence like we were crazy. This week has been a very good one, and it went too quick! We have learnt so many skills from this course that will allow us to be able to bring this knowledge into the future, and possibly take work with these skills. One suggestion I would like to make would be to have an OnBoard subscription thingy for the hackathon, so that could allow students to be able to practice these skills and make them better than before. However the week in general has been really good, and I want to do this again at some point! If you have any more complex courses, please do let me know :)
