It's great you get to play games that you love( like DUCK HUNT). I liked the piggy banks because you get lots of counters, we also got counters for completing challenges + Joe makes lots of funny jokes and Rishi is also very fun.

Great week !

I can type faster than before and i can remember the keys

I loved it, the teachers were great

The teachers were great and the games were too. Plus they put challenges in, which made it more interesting. I won some challenges and it made me feel very good.

My touch typing course at fun tech was thoroughly enjoyable.
I met new people and I had lots of fun. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to learn to touch type.

Exceptional course. My tutor turned what could have been a very confusing and boring area of programming, into a highly interesting and useful. The amount of freedom I now have is amazing. This course is the pièce de résistance for coding. I can use many classes including abstract ones, use inheritance to save code and many other highly essential skills. Having gone through the course at an unprecedented rate, our tutor was able to set extra work including the creation of multiple text and graphical games which thoroughly tested our new found learning.

As well as the course as a whole, there is a member of staff which I must recommend as not only exceptionally intelligent, but also limitless in his patience and tireless in his efforts to help his pupils. Jay Feng is one of the most talented people I have known. Having been taught by him for two weeks, I can say that I know him reasonably well and that therefore I know the rare qualities that he has and the drive and determination that supports them. He spent many long hours creating an arena in which we could make graphical items, helping give us a large library from which to resource our endeavours. His impeccable standards of teaching resulted in us completing the course with many days to spare. He then found new resources and materials to keep us learning. He also taught things that were in advance of the course, such as generic programming and basic explanations of other languages such a C++ and Erlang. His tireless work has lead many of the class to aspire to far higher targets than they would have, and to have great success with more complex coding. I have met many people in my time, and very few impress upon me such a sense of confidence and intelligence as Jay Feng, and all the other tutors and employees at Fun tech. Finally, I would like to thank all the staff at Fun Tech in Tonbridge. I wish them luck in their future endeavours and look forward to attending another course next year.

Cameron helped explain things I didn't understand whilst also letting me work things out for myself. Overall, it was a pretty great course and I'd highly recommend it!

Dan is a excellent teacher . He was so good with us .I like him a lot .

An excellent course which was well expanded upon by my tutor. He explained all concepts thoroughly and once we had finished, went on to explain other, also very useful concepts. His experience allowed him to tailor the tasks to the student, also to make the course more engaging and interesting, whist keeping it inline with the guidelines of the course. The activities were also exciting and well chosen, due to the fact that there were often opportunities for a choice in the activities.

i had a very fun time doing touch typing i really enjoyed it i hope i can do it again i have made alot of friends and they have been fun to play with this course is !TOTALLY AWESOME!and it has made my summer alot of fun it was the best camp ever :)

Good

Minecraft Mods, even if it contains little or no coding, is still pretty good. The software is a bit limited but it can still get a lot of modding done. It was very enjoyable and I actually didn't want to have breaks.

It was really fun doing all the characters, dimensions, blocks items...
Some of them went really derpy but i fixed it.
My favourite part was the block customisation.

Program lacks features

The camp was great, staff was nice and knew the work we were trying to do, but the program used (mcreator) lack many features to do relatively simple things (e.g. a amplifier for potion effects) in the version that is available at the camp.

I learned a lot of coding during this camp, and my parents are very proud. The tutors were very friendly and helpful, and also very funny. They are EQUALLY good at their jobs.

FunTech RESPONSE:
Sorry you didn't enjoy coding. Each day is 8 hours long you have two 15 minute breaks and 90 minutes for lunch, so only coding for 6 hours per day... though we can appreciate that if you did not enjoy it it felt like 10 hours!

At lunch and break we went outside and everyone joined in playing games to make sure we didn't hurt our eyes and don't stare at the screen too much.
My only problem with the course was that it became a little repetitive.

coding level 1 fun

The tutors were very good and they taught me loads and were very funny. Every day I learnt loads of interesting java programs and my favourite tutor is James(defiantly not Will).

I had rly good fun this week learning all da basics of coding. james is a better coder then will 10/10 IGN . James is the god at coding he should get a promotion and should be in charge of will. Also will needs to play pokemon go he is missing out in a big part of life.

Funtech Review (Will Is best)

It's a fun experience, and a "Cool" place for any seeking coder, or just to have fun. But coding for 10 hours Is quite boring, and the breaks could be abit longer, because most people lose concentration (Me defiantly). To be honest James is the best coder, sorry Will :D

Absolutely incredible, I learnt so much in just five days thanks to the two tutors James and Will. Although this was only the basics, I couldn't believe what I could do. Now, the following things may seem simple to make, but these were actually quite hard! 1. Make a calculator. 2. A dice rolle...

Absolutely incredible, I learnt so much in just five days thanks to the two tutors James and Will. Although this was only the basics, I couldn't believe what I could do.
Now, the following things may seem simple to make, but these were actually quite hard!
1. Make a calculator.
2. A dice roller.
3. User input programs, where the user can alter what happens.
4. For loops, where we enter a specific amount of times for one or multiple lines of code to repeat - we managed to make the console print different sized hollow and regular squares using this.
5. While loops, where you can make one or multiple commands repeat themselves infinitely with user input where it asks a question then repeats the command until you tell it not to do so.
6. We managed to do random number generation, where the code picks a random number depending on your minimum and maximum number.
7. We did variables, where you store a line of code into one word - this can be used for things like:
What is your name?
Archie
Okay, Archie, hit the dartboard!
You win, Archie!

The course was great, I learnt a lot and I recommend this course.

This was soooooooooooooo fun!!! I think that I am going to use Blender a lot more in the future! Shout out to Giorgio who was really kind and had the patience of a saint when we caused mayhem every 5 or 10 mins! ;D
