I think this is a brilliant camp and a great experience ( I went to the Maidenhead Branch ). The teachers were exemplary and very good at teaching; they were patient and help you whenever you needed it, they also gave you helpful tip to make coding easier. They were funny and most of the teachers were quite young so they understood us better and were able to tell what we were consistently struggling and we learn so much we learnt more than we needed to which help us to make better programmes. Mine has turned out great and I hope to come back again. They took us out to the park to have lunch and after the children who wanted to play football were allowed to and the teachers joined in which was nice even though some weren't that good but it was nice to see that they wanted to make us happy and share our enjoyment with them.
they also gave us regular breaks so that we weren't at the screen all day so it didn't hurt our eyes and neither did we have headaches.
I only found one problem and that we had to ask them to explain it again and because coding for beginners is a bit daunting and complex. So I think the should automatically explain it a second time. That was the only problem other wise I fully enjoyed my-self.
I think it was great and you show go. I definitely want to return. Thankyou FunTech!

it was very good. the tutor was fun, educational and entertaining. i have learnt a new coding program using eclipse. i found the lobby was too small for all of the children. i liked how we had lunch outside. so we had a break from the screen. The tutor ( sandeep ) was really nice and the rest of them helped a lot and were friendly. All of funtechs equipment was up to date so it was easy to use as we were familiar with it. Although the lobby was small all of the classrooms were a good size. Going here was definitely not a waste of time.

i was struggling in school from learning python 3.0 and learning a much better language called c# at funtech, this language can be used to make games in unity 5. but i was learning them both so i had to stop c# due python being used for my computing gcse. so i decided to do the coding level 1 to catch up.

while i am 15 and the majority of my fellow class mates are quite alot younger, what i have learned is actually pretty impressive. my teacher (sandeep) was extremly help and all round brillant.

while the first camp that i had done was "rig and render" now known as 3D modelling and animation was in my eyes more enjoyable due to me being more 3D modelling than coding. i would still highly recommend both.

funtech is known for having outstanding, easy to understand and complex skills that are taught, and im happy to say that that is the case once again.

Great way to spend the holidays

I did this camp for a week in the holidays. It was great! Really interesting and very fun. Enjoyable and a skill that will stick with you for life. Personally I highly recommend this camp. I will be returning!

Amazing summer camp...

The camp has been informative and fun in equal measures. I really recommend it.

It has taught me so much in just 1 week!!!!

I attended the Coding Level 1 summer camp in Maidenhead. They have taught me basic knowledge in coding, which I will hope to use in future.

I wish I could do another course, but I would definitely recommend this to family and friends wishing to explore the world of coding!

This camp has been absolutely brilliant. The teachers are very welcoming and explain things in a way that anyone could understand. It is a fun camp which is not just for the privileged few that already know coding but for everybody who wants to learn.

Best time ever!

I did 3D game design and it was a great course the tutors put in 110% and the game design was so good for improving my knowledge on games and I will probably try coding next time.

BRILLIANT!!!!

I loved the Robotics camp that i did this week. It was very exciting. I had lots of fun building robots out of Lego bricks. It was brilliant.

This course is really imaginative so it's perfect for creative people. It teaches the basics of scripting, terrain modeling, entities and so many other amazing things. The tutors, Joe and Rishi were amazing and knew exactly how to keep us engaged.
Although I loved this course, I will admit that I personally preferred coding - which I did last year with the other tutor who taught this course, Joe. However, this is solely based on my preference when it comes to the content.

AWESOMELY EPIC 100% FANTASTIC

I had a great time at 3D game design, mainly because of the epic program: GameGuru. I am totally getting this at home.

I enjoyed this camp loads! Learning how to edit entities, make terrain and make my own scripts was amazing! No wonder FunTech is called FunTech, it really is fun!

Best Camp I've Been To!

I have really enjoyed doing this camp over the last week. Touch typing is an essential skill but can be extremely boring, the Funtech camp made it fun and easy to learn. The tutors were helpful and encouraging and made sure we were all typing to the best of our abilities. Being a teenager I thought the the camp might have been boring and that I might have been the only one my age however I there were other people my age for my to talk to and I didn't feel bored at all. Overall I have learnt an important new skill and have had fun. In fact I touched typed this review!

Touch typing is easy as long as you try and complete the games.You meet new people and learn new skills and tricks for life. The teachers are really nice and kind. I really recommend

Subsequently to get really good you must also type after the camp is over. That being said in a week the camp does teach well and if your child concentrates they will make a great improvement in their touch typing.
