loved the teaching but not the time its to long and i loved the rest of the things

Best tech camp I've ever been to

Hamzah is so funny but at the same time so helpful. Whenever i have a query he always solves it for me and also pushes me to my limit if we have done it before in the content. Making games is so fun, i would do it for my regular job.

This course was extremely helpful and all the tutors were great. I would definitely recommend Mohamed 'Hamza' and Gabriel since they were very helpful and fair throughout the whole course. The course itself was very in depth and always kept me busy; it taught me key game design skills in famous software that was able to be accessed from home. The tutors were very able and taught the content very well for all the students.

The mentors knew what they where doing but they were spread out over lots of children so sometimes you had to wait a long time for help. The clips and power points where helpful but the clips where blurry and sometimes they contradicted each other witch ended in confusion. Over all it was a ...

Awesome

I have learned loads via Dom & Lewis who tutor my lesson they teached me everything i would have wanted to learn. I always felt i was being looked after and helped.

I had a great time in funtech even with my own struggles. overall I had a great time!

Amazing and super helpful.

It was super helpful because I was not very good at first and was not very confident but as I progressed and was given help(especially by Dom) I became more confident and became a lot better at what I was doing after lots of repetitive work. Overall, FunTech has been extremely helpful to me.

funtech, fun times

a brilliant course, well designed, and implemented although some of the course materieal wasn't used/incorrect so it was a little confusing. however the tutors were helpful and good. they were helpful but still got us to do things our selves.

Lewis and Dom where really funny. The lessons went really fast. the best time was when you could create your own game.

I think the summer Camp was really fun and the teachers were all really supportive and answered questions well. The first day was a bit of a struggle because everyone was still figuring out how to work the program. Apart from this the days got better when we had more free time to explore the different settings and parts of this program. sometimes it was hard when everyone was going at a different pace and we were still waiting for others to get to this stage. I would recommend this and would definitely come again.

The great camp ever

This is one of the best camps ever. I have always wanted to learn this. Hamza is the best teacher and Shreeja was also the best! It is worth all the money. It is the best camp ever.

Funtech was great. Hamzas jokes were funny, Pacman was really shy and Shreeja was helpful.

Just a suggestion - could you add Basic AI to the course. Also Hamza was really funny and a very good at explaining the content. I would definitely recommend.

Good fun

The camp was very enjoyable. Luis and Lucas really got the balance right between expanding our knowledge and allowing us to explore our ideas. The videos really helped and the software was easy to use. Overall a very good course, *****.

super funtech

wow! despite being younger and less skilled than the others it was really fun. Something I'd like to mention that we first did first person, then for some reason, we did side scroller which is, if I'm not mistaken, don't get me wrong, is semi - 3d.

it is to easy

you should only put 13-16 yr old's in this camp because the younger ones are really annoying

apart from that is was fun and now i can create my own game on unreal engine xxxx

I have now attended several camps at funtech. They have all been brilliant weeks filled with fun and lots of useful information. I have now attended several camps at funtech. They have all been brilliant weeks filled with fun and lots of useful information. You never go without a task and all the tutors are very knowledgeable about what they do. They're always great fun with plenty of jokes and lots of time for games both within the sessions and outside at lunch and break. The sessions have a great atmosphere and are well tailored depending on the age and skill set of the individuals attending.

It was amazing

Louis and Lucas were a huge help and gave us loads of advice when we got stuck. The only bad thing is that it could have been more detailed; i.e. AI characters, other 3D models, creating textures etc.

3D Game Design Course

3D Game Design was very fun and I learned a lot about how to create a mini-game using Unreal Engine. The tutors were kind and helpful and I would highly recommend then to anyone!

But actualy it was awesome. I look forwards to ripping off fortnite when I go home. (I hope epic doesn't sue me, otherwise i will dismantle them)

I have to be honest, when I came, I didn't think I was going to enjoy myself. However, I was thoroughly proved wrong! Our teachers Aaron and Lewis have been soooo amazing and have really helped me to find my way around the computer and get used to new and exciting game designing software! I have really enjoyed making my game and the parts that I did find a little challenging, my teachers talked me through it step by step! This has been an excellent week of my summer far better than my expectations and I look forward to trying another course!
