I have enjoyed the FunTech camp this week and feel like I have learned a lot from this experience. I think that the tutors did a great job of teaching us and giving us advice as I was able to understand everything without too much trouble. I enjoyed the breaks and lunches as we were able to relax and have fun after having a long session. I liked creating my game and seeing it improve over the days. Overall I think that the FunTech experience was joyful, interesting and educational and I would strongly recommend it for others who are interested in coding and other tech related things.

Amazing Tutors at funtech

I feel like I learnt a lot and I found it really fun and I was never bored. And I have no negative points for funtech. Also my tutors Hamza and Kieron were extremely helpful and experienced.

Review of Funtech

It was quite fun and interesting. I can use it at home so its quite useful. We received skills that could start a career so I would be more than happy to do a course with Funtech again next year, just hopefully closer to my house.

It was exciting and a good learning experience the staff were good and helpful and kept the fun going. The lunch times are the most enjoyable because they made us do activities different each day.

Great fun and I have learnt so much here. The tutors are helpful and the system we use is easy to master and fun. This camp has been super useful and super enjoyable. I am so glad it is a week instead of two days or so as it is so fun and there is so much to learn. The friends I have made here are funny and I am so glad I came here. There is only one problem though - I feel like break is so long. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed this week and would rat it 4.5, but that wasn't an option and I felt my problem was minor, I rate FunTech 5 stars.

Funtech is really fun and inclusive in a week you learn a lot and it teaches you what you need to learn in a very simple way.

Amazing time, learned lots on the topic of 3D game design. Had lots of fun on and off the computer and was a great week and would recommend for a fun week of learning about many different ways of programming from Minecraft to 3D game design.

it was quite tricky at the start but when i got the hang of it, I found it very interesting and fun.

Excellent teaching

My son enjoyed doing 3D Game Design very much and is extremely keen to do more at Fun Tech. Learning and fun at the same time during the summer school holidays - perfect. Joseph is an excellent teacher - inspirational even! Thank you

3D game design could make you a millionaire

FunTech is a great place to learn new stuff. it helps you improve your coding, and it's really poplar.

The camp was great and enjoyed tons of it. The teaching was fantastic and so was the engine, everything was fine touched. The only criticism I had because I want to get it out the way is that some parts of the exercises just seemed out of place. Especially some of the jokes just really was aw...

The camp was great and enjoyed tons of it. The teaching was fantastic and so was the engine, everything was fine touched.
The only criticism I had because I want to get it out the way is that some parts of the exercises just seemed out of place.

Especially some of the jokes just really was awkward and ruined the pacing but that is very minor comapered to the greatness of funtech and their education is a brilliant way of learning.
Joe was also very intuative so i give this camp a solid elephant out of 10

A great way to learn how to do stuff on unreal engine 4.

I found the course great fun. Over the week we learned lots about unreal engine 4. Joe was really helpful with the course and helped people when they where stuck. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

This course exceeded my expectations greatly. I have never been to a summer camp and this was really good fun. My tutor, Lewis, was extremely helpful and if anyone on the course was stuck they were helped out straight away. Louis, the head tutor, was cheery and when my computer was experiencing some issues he helped out straight away. My only issue was the noise in the classroom but that was expected.

I have really enjoyed this course and being able to code is an amazing skill. The first day was a bit confusing because I did not know what I was doing but now it is so fun because I can do anything I want! I highly recommend it

I had such a brilliant time attending the Funtech 3-D game design course in Tonbridge. The instructors always helped me out when I had a problem and I've done learned more in the week I attended than I could spending a year trying to teach myself. I would recommend a Funtech course to others my age (14). My favourite part about Funtech is that the instructors allow and encourage students to try new things by themselves which gives the pupils a good degree of independence.

this course was really interesting as it really gets you involved in the engine. The video's and task are easy to follow but give a bit of a challenge. the tutors are willing to help and if they can't help go further on to research about it. the best part was making the games as you can do whatever you want and if you're stuck on making something, you can always get help. if i was to change something is the video's where it's about coding in the blueprint, as it tells you how to make certain blueprints but not what each individual component does so it is harder to make your own blueprints

I had an amazing time at Funtech this week. I learnt a lot about unreal engine, and many of its features including blueprints, materials, logic gates, and triggers/triggerables. The two instructors, Hamza and Gabriel did an amazing job of explaining everything in full detail and taking the time to go around and help everyone. They were very funny and very supportive and helpful. The only criticism that i would present regarding the week as a whole is that lunch times seemingly lasted much longer than most other courses that i have partaken in elsewhere, and it felt like some of the potential time was wasted. Overall, i wouldn't hesitate to rate the course 5/5
