its pretty nice i would come here again but the only thing is its basic and they keep teaching us basic only for two days is advanced there are a lot of good camps and this is one of them ;)

It is fun and great for trying the new

It is great because they teach you how to do the 3D modeling with lots of help. The only thing I would say is that they could speed up the learning process and they have slightly shorter breaks. It is great if you are trying something new, which is why I recommend it.

Fun

It was a very good camp. The demonstration's where very useful for learning blender. And we had a good amount of breaks. And it is very interesting Making your own Model.

3D Modelling & Printing Camp

I thought the camp was very good because my tutor was very nice and helpful. He was very helpful when i got stuck on certain tasks we had to. The demonstration videos were very helpful. Overall I thought it was a very good camp and it was very exciting and fun.

It was a good summer camp I enjoyed my late pickup time with Rishi, Chris,and Gabriel they where really nice and we had a lot of classroom banter

I liked programming in scratch, i liked It when i helped two people swim and the teacher helped. We did cool stuff. I liked the breaks. I liked that there are some girls.

We started off with the very basics of Java coding, and opened up a programming software called Eclipse. Throughout the week we went through a series of different things to learn, ranging from easy to more difficult. We started off with things like \"User Input\" and progressed onto things like \"Arrays\", that were more difficult. I found that when we started a new topic, at first I literally had no idea what was going on, but then two or three topics later I began to understand said topic. I FOUND IT EXTREMELY CHALLENGING!!! . Overall I think the software and quality of the product provided by Funtech was top notch.


I think that my tutor was very good (APART FROM THE JOKES!!!), and stopped the banter and conversations when they went too far. He is also very good and helpful.


We have two 15 minute breaks per day, both either side of the one hour and a half lunch break. All of the total two hours of break between 9am and 5pm were strictly enforced as \"tech free\". I understand that most of my colleagues did not agree with the tech free rules, however I liked it because if you think about it we have around 6 and a half hours of tech and that is unhealthy for the average age of students taking part in Funtech classes. In 15 minute breaks we chatted with each other and ate our packed lunches (remember to pack a lot of food!!!) At lunch, if the weather is satisfactory we go out to the local park and have a kick around with footballs or have organised games of C.T.F (Capture the flag) etc... If the weather appeared to be unsatisfactory, then we would all eat lunch and watch films.


I felt that we still got on with a substantial amount of work; in-fact the only reason that I gave a rating of 4.5 stars was that sometimes I felt that the banter went too far (sometime my fault!!!)


Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Funtech, and would thoroughly recommend it to all tech enthusiasts or people that just want to have some leisurely fun and learn some very important things along the way!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at FunTech. What made the experience better was the fact that my tutor THE GODLY GODLIKE ST NICHOLAS has great banter so I found him very likeable. BEWARE: THE BANTER BAR MAY REACH TERMINAL VELOCITY!!! 5/5. I found the content easier than most people as I have done coding before, however my tutor gave me extra stuff to do when I finished everything. The course was designed for beginners in coding. I did enjoy the week as I LOVE CODING 5/5. The course was really fun as THE GODLY GODLIKE ST NICHOLAS is very knowledgeable in coding so helped me if I asked challenging questions. 5/5. The breaks were questionable to say the least..... they were tech free which was rather annoying. If we didn't got to the park we watched frozen and minions.
Overall, I have found my time at Funtech to be rewarding and I thoroughly recommend it to all aspiring coders ";

I came to this camp annoyed at my parents because i didn't want to waste my summer holiday doing typing. This course was a great help to my speed and accuracy and is great if you want to learn to touch type in 1 WEEK then this is the place to go. We have plenty of breaks and get to know a lot of different people. The things that you learn are games and help to improve your typing unlike most games. i am now typing at just under 40 WPM.

FunTech is the best

Hi my name is Annie . When i first started typing i thought i knew lots but i didn't. Funtyper helped me with everything as well my tutors. The FunTech crew made this camp very fun! I loved coming here and i hope that i get to come here again.

Unreal course!!!!!

This camp was AWESOME. the program was REALLY EASY to use and it was very fun to play with all the physics and settings. I also loved using the different game modes. The tutor was a great help whenever there was a problem.

Scratch programming is awesome, ii taught me how to code, animate, make games and stories, but most of all I love my new friends and don't want to leave.

I had a lot of fun in this camp and loved coming here. I learnt a lot here and got much better at typing. I also much better than I used to be very slow now I am much better. My teacher was very good and very kind and I hope to have her again next time I come.

FunTyper is EPIC

I love the camp and have learned so, so, so much. It has been nice making new friends and competing against them in challenges. The website we used was amazing and covered all most off the keys on the keyboard. If the games were not as repetitive it would be the best camp in the world.

Useful and lots of fun

I came into this camp without doing a touch typing course before and my words per minute were below 10 and am walking away with 40 words per minute. I made lots of friends during the week and got the real best out of this course

I really enjoyed this camp, the teachers (Eleanor and Henry) were fantastic and they have been very helpful and kind to all of the people here. This camp was one of the best camps I have been on and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into 3D modelling. I did this camp because I was preparing for my DT GCSE course and I can say that when I go back to school it will give me a massive head start.

The content was great with the right amount of challenge and our Tutor helped to keep us engaged throughout the week and informed us about the world of computing beyond Java. I would definitely rate my Tutor Nick 5* as well as the course material. The class was a good size however, in my opinion I think the course could be condensed into 4 days with shorter breaks and lunches. Also i think a lot more girls should get involved as it was great fun. I really did enjoy the Java Coder 1 course and I left the course fully fulfilled.

I have learned a lot over my week at FunTechand made a lot of progress. Many coding concepts were relatively challenging but were explained well and it takes a long time to fully understand coding. I have had a good week at funtech as my tutor was friendly and my class was good. We covered a range of topics. I enjoyed it and am certainly better at coding java than I was at the start!

I think this camp is really good for young children.The teachers here are really kind and teach you a lot of cool stuff.

It has been great fun doing the course and it was definitely worth the money. I am coming to come back to this summer camp next week and i cant wait.

Java Coder Level 1

This camp was amazing! The tutors are very helpful and funny. Some of the exercises are challenging but once you complete it you feel great. I highly recommend this camp to anyone who loves coding!!!
