I first saw this on the website and I thought that was an immediate sign up. As a regular FunTech student who had an interest in drones I thought this was a real course that I would benefit from. And I did. With some of the drones having minor issues, the different aspects of the course were really interesting as we learnt how a drone flies, and how JavaScript worked at the same time. I would go again if I could, a 10/10 for me!

fun week

This week was really good. I enjoyed all the challenges I learnt a lot of things about fun typer. I liked bubble burst the most. Joe helped me with how to sit properly and how to put my hands on the keyboard and he gave me counters when I did it right.

Amazing Week!

This week was really fun.I enjoyed the games especially Alien rescue. I learnt a lot, I enjoyed all the challenges,they were very fun. Joe was very helpful.I would recommend this to my friends.

FUN AND COOL CAMP

I had a lot of fun I like Joe because he was motivating. I liked the course content. It was hard but challenging, Bubble Burst was difficult but really good. I would come to funtech again because I really like it.

I had a really good time because my tutor Nick helped me go through the nxt programing/building. I learnt how to use the nxt software I also learnt how to program a robot. I made a few complex programs. Nick was an amazing tutor who helped me through the course he also made things easy to understand when things got complicated. When I was able to go outside as it was raining most of the days we were allowed to throw balls towards Joe and Nick and we also played football.

Yuvesh was an outstanding teacher. His calmness and expertise was impressive. We feel he was an exceptionally positive role model for our son.

I had a grate time when I went especially with Arthur (dragon) and Chester (night hawk) at brakes we had the best time in the world and I don't think you cant have fun here so you have to come and have fun.

funtech ROCKS!

funtech is really fun! it was my first time to learn how to touch type. there are lots of games[really fun] you can lots of stuff.and lots of levels.

Fun-typer! Some levels are hard and some are not.

Its really fun and hard in a way. I have enjoyed my week and I would like to do thing type of thing again. I had a fun week.

I think this is a very good 1-week course. It is fun and taught me how to type. The teachers were fun but also were strict. I think the course was very good and I would love to go again.

you do amazing robot coding! first you build you robot then you program it and at the end you do an awesome robot wars and a maze! plus you get an amazing tutor called Markus!

i really liked the funtech camp in the NXT you had to make a robot and then you could have robot battles. you had to pass challenges and i realy liked it.

its lots of fun at funtech the teachers are friendly the activites are interesting i recomend it for

My Experience at FunTech

I found it very fun, I learnt a lot of tricks and things I never knew you could do in Minecraft. I found a few things stressful and confusing, but I got through it and learnt my mistakes, which helped out a ton.

I really loved the course and I definitely want to do want to do it again I would recommend it for everyone

AMAZING - no seriosly I loved it and we got to 3D print our models

3D Modelling & Animation

I had a really good time. We used a piece of software called "Blender" to create are final models and animate them; at the end we got to finish our final model on the 3D printer. It was really fun and I'd definitely do it again!

Fantastic and intuative

I have come 3 times. If that doesn't mean something about quality then i don't know what does.

3D Animation course

We used Blender to create both simple and detailed models.

9.7/10 Would Blend Again

3D Animation Review

8/8 lots of fun. Blender is really complicated but it's satisfying when you complete something difficult. Lunch Activities were really good too. The teachers were very interactive. Definitely will be experimenting with blender in my own time after this course aswell.

These lessons helped/taught me new techniques in minecraft redstone for building contraptions. The Tutors always answer any questions we asked to them. they also made things simple-most of the time- so we could understand what we had to do for the task. Even f you were new to minecraft you can still learn at FunTech on the first day, it shows you the basics of minecraft (i wasn't new). One of the things the camp did was teach me how to make a button react the same way as a lever, another thing was that i didn't know that you could lock a repeater so that it would stay on. These past few days has been very enjoyable for me and hopefully everyone els in the class too.

Hard to learn but a good skill

The course is completed on a series of games that aim to improve accuracy and learn new letters without looking. It takes a while but results in a great increase in speeeed. The teachers were nice but stern.

This course was very educational, yet fun, (which isn't very common) as it combined something I love (Minecraft) with something not-so easy to create, (Technology) and used a component in the game (Redstone) to teach us the basics of Technology!

go to redstone

go to minecraft redstone because you learn about redstone and at the end of the week you make an assault course and then test it out on survive. I used redstone gates to make a punching wall.
