PCO5 review

I really enjoyed the Pure Coder Level 5 course, where I learned how to use Unreal Engine 5 to create games. I would strongly recommend this course to others. I really enjoyed the Pure Coder Level 5 course, where I learned how to use Unreal Engine 5 to create games. I would strongly recommend this course to others. I particularly enjoyed the last term, where we learned how to create realistic animations and use Artificial Intelligence in games. My tutor, Teague, has been brilliant at explaining all the concepts and helping me when I was stuck with something during a challenge. This course is a lot more challenging and demanding compared to the FunTech courses I have done previously. For example, during term 2, I had to have preps/catch-ups quite frequently due to the amount of content that had to be covered in the course. However, I still give the course a 5/5 star rating, as I think that the content we learned in the lessons and the way the lessons were taught was spectacular. Thank you, FunTech, for a great year!

Learning Python

My time learning python was very good. I was helped a lot when, when I was stuck with something I would get separate help to consolidate my knowledge.\nI found this very good. I also found the catch up sessions when I missed a lesson very good. Overall it was brilliant.

It was amazing. I want to say a big thank you to every one who helped put it together - from the IT support to the teachers- thank you for making it the best computing lessons ever . Luckily , I am doing it next year . A big shout out to Awen who helped me through the year.

I really liked the whole year. The par that I liked the bested is MakeCode it was very fun because you get to do what ever you want on it.

I really liked this year - it had easy to understand content and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My favourite bit of this year is definitely OOP - I use it in my games a lot now, and it is VERY useful! The hardest part has definitely been the Djikstra's pathfinding algorithm and A*, but it was still fun. M

My Year at FunTech

I have extremely enjoyed this year in funtech and have found the course really interesting. I have improved my coding skills so much and it has also helped my improve my school computing work. My favourite part about this year was the turtle drawing as I found that really interesting and fun.

[btw this is me assuming this is meant to be the whole year feedback]\nDoing Python for a full year feels like something that would go stale quickly, but actually it did not at all. There was consistently new different types of content. While obviously it started off with things like print("Hello World!"), it eventually increased in difficulty A LOT until we were able to learn things like a simplified Pamcan remake. The one thing I did kind of wish we used more was spending 1 lesson on a module, like we did with import random. Obviously you can't cover something as massive as tkinter in 1 lesson, but small things could work. Overall though, very fun course to do, loved it a lot.
