A really interactive course teaching lots of information, but with the fun only coming at the end.

I really enjoyed this Funtech course, but I had high expectations and this did not exceed them. However, I learnt as much in these two weeks that I would otherwise have learnt in a few months. I really enjoyed this Funtech course, but I had high expectations and this did not exceed them. However, I learnt as much in these two weeks that I would otherwise have learnt in a few months. This was achieved by how interactive this course was , and quite surprisingly so as it was online. However, interactive does not mean fun, and this course was not exactly fun. Because that would not be possible. But the end project was. It was a really fun way to end the course, and I really liked this. However, what massively let it down was that I could not view the content myself. This was a big shame, and I think the course would really benefit from that. If that changes, I would heavily recommend this course anytime.

This course was great and I'm very happy with what I learnt but near the beginning people who were more experienced had to work on patience and wait for the less experienced to keep up, this could get draining but separate tasks I did were good for the waiting. I liked it a lot! I liked learning about a couple things I haven't before! There's one slight thing I didn't like is that I wasn't allowed to tell one of the kids my MC user or Roblox user, when it's a PUBLIC profile! I'd feel like it should be the other's kids decision if they want to say the same

I'd feel like it should be the other's kids decision if they want to say the same or not or their parents should decide, cause their parents didn't pay for the kids to learn, it's a summer camp. What if someone made good friends with someone and now they can't talk to each other after camp is done? The rest of the camp was still good. Just that tiny thing is what I didn't like. The teacher was good and getting the other kids and myself to understand.

Fun Tech course

I feel i have come a long way this week with computer science. i started out not even being able to even write a print statement but now i can do much more. it has been a good week.

Roblox camp

I loved this course it was fun and really cool I think this because the tutor was very encouraging and helped us when we needed it. I got through loads and learnt lots of thing about roblox and roblox studios.

It was amazing as a course, but I think the videos and the tutors should go a little slower so that people like me, who are a bit slower, know what they are doing and can keep up. I loved the course otherwise! My favourite part was making my structure-Farmhouse-and decorating it, and making my farm!

Almost Perfect

The course was very fun. I think to improve you should maybe decrease the number of quizzes but other than that it was amazing. I feel like I learned a lot from it and I will get into developing a game on Roblox much easier!

I found my work quite pleasing after this experience of funtech even though I have just started coding using unreal. But during the course I found I went through many problems in my code 3/5 of them were me trying to find something. In the end I made a game that worked properly and functioned as I wanted, after making my game I realised that I could have achieved quite a good game if I learned more. So overall my experience of funtech is about in the middle 3/5 and 4/5.

Python Game Developer

At the beginning of the course it was a basic start, this is good as it helped me get the basics of a new language that I have never done before. The amount of content based around the course was alright just needed more topics and extra add ons for the game once made

There were 6 in the class, and yes we did have one lively youngster who was extremely excited and vocal about what she was doing... however, I believe this was better in the second week.

Great week

I had such a great time learning about python, i learnt so much that i did not know. It was always interesting and fun. The groups were a perfect size as they were very small and so it was easy to ask questions. The course was quite quick, we got through it very quickly as it was easy to understand.

Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your time learning about Python and this group was rather advanced and so additional more advanced concepts that were outside of the scope of this course were covered and additional projects given. Yes, definitely more to learn about Python, and our Python Game Course covers object orientation in more detail.

it was really fun at first but then got boring but then since we started developing a end project it got fun again and i ended up loving it. Really want to come back next time and do a different course which will be fun.

Good and Bad things about FunTech Lockdown

The course was really fun with plenty of guidance and help from the tutors if you needed any and we learnt almost anything we needed to to be able to program a game. One of the bad things about the course was that you had to get up pretty early in order to have breakfast and set your computer up. I

the course was going at the right pace and the teacher was good at explaining and helping me when I was stuck. It is really fun and interesting and very easy to get onto. I would like to do it again

my review is that its really good and really fun but you have to get a lot of sleep before you do it as it is really tiring but besids that I would recomed it

I have liked learning how to do all those stuff that I didn't know you could do!! but I have had around 5 technical glitches which was the reason why I took a mark of but apart from that it was amazing.

I think the Fun Tech course Is very good because you get to make all kinds of things like doors race tracks codes and lots more! I would definitely recommend this camp to my Roblox loving friends because you can create a obby and they give you lots of cool code. In over words I loved the camp.

I really loved this camp. During the first 2 days, we had some serious problems with the virtual machine, but Mr.Alexander (we chose to call him that) never got frustrated once. We found out our WIFI was the problem, and we could never really get it fixed. But, instead of getting angry or frustrate

I really loved this camp. During the first 2 days, we had some serious problems with the virtual machine, but Mr.Alexander (we chose to call him that) never got frustrated once. We found out our WIFI was the problem, and we could never really get it fixed. But, instead of getting angry or frustrated, Alex really helped us, offering to do it on his computer with us telling him what to do instead of giving up. He always stopped to let us take notes when we were watching videos and was overall really helpful.

Good, but could be better

I liked the course, and the teachers were nice, but our teacher for the second week was, I think, worse that our one for the first. Our tutor for the second week wasn't as good at the actual teaching of the course, but was good at helping with the final activity (make your own code).

Really Fun!

I found it very fun and like when I was always stuck Koni always helped me and that's pretty much it

Brilliant course.

This camp was very exciting with a very good teacher. A bit expensive but very good value. I feel like I learned a lot. i haven't done anything like this before.

Great when I was the one being taught!

I felt that these two weeks were a productive learning experience and I learned quite a lot. I can say with full confidence that the knowledge that I did gain from this course was really helpful.

Python Coding

It was an amazing week, where I was able to learn how to code. By the end I was able to write an impressive code, that I was proud of.

I didn't know much coding to start with but the course built up my knowledge in an enjoyable and engaging way. Would definitely recommend.

I have learnt quite a lot on the course- and like the modelling and that was useful in my obby. they do taught me a lot. The tutor was quite helpful.
