I have learned loads via Dom & Lewis who tutor my lesson they teached me everything i would have wanted to learn. I always felt i was being looked after and helped.

i loved the camp

I liked making the lego and i liked battling the robots. I haven done the maze yet but i liked making it and ill think ill like doing it. I thought we would have a remote for the robot, but we do the thing on the computer and we plug in the usb. The tutors are really good.

I started learning python at school in year 8. I always found it very hard to understand and I never fully knew why is was told to type certain things. I started learning python at school in year 8. I always found it very hard to understand and I never fully knew why is was told to type certain things. Simple things like 'print' and 'if' statements were beyond me. When I started this course, the basics were explained very quickly and very well. I think that by applying fun things like games to the python code made everything easier to comprehend. I recently went over all my class work and I now can confidently say that I understand why it was written that way and what it does. The teaching method was very efficient, clear and simple. The tutors were funny, relaxed and cheerful. They were not only able to explain the code but talk about other topics like this game were you eat smaller circles to get bigger. I don't remember what it was called. Abul and Jonathan were my groups tutors, they were both very funny and showed me how to fix the broken bits of code in my Adventure story. Simple things like deleting things from lists and removing or adding indents and telling me why I needed to do those things was very helpful.

Overall I think this course was really helpful and taught me a lot!

the course was amazing and i enjoyed it a lot.James was also the best tutor.

Amazing and super helpful.

It was super helpful because I was not very good at first and was not very confident but as I progressed and was given help(especially by Dom) I became more confident and became a lot better at what I was doing after lots of repetitive work. Overall, FunTech has been extremely helpful to me.

Learning Python and developing a Python Game

Really great course to start developing your own Python Games, as each step is clearly explained so little previous coding knowledge is needed. The very small class size and great teacher meant that there was lots of one-on-one help so I really understood all the coding for the game.

James is a very Nice sometimes. but he taught me the way. and it was a good i rec-emend this coarse to every one who wants to 3d print i learned how to 3D model on blender 10/10

Great week!

I had an amazing week at FunTech! My instructor James was really good and I improved so much in just the first day! He was open to help and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is the least interested in modelling. The atmosphere was really friendly and I really enjoyed it

a brilliant course, well designed, and implemented although some of the course materieal wasn't used/incorrect so it was a little confusing. however the tutors were helpful and good. they were helpful but still got us to do things our selves.

The name says all. It is very fun. You learn how to touch type properly, and learn it is important to use the right fingers.

I think funtech is a good camp as they try to make everything fun.

Learnt Lots!

I did Java and I leaned loads! I love it and am definitely coming back for Java Coder V2. I am also coming back for other courses.
I would recommend this to my friends although it is slightly overpriced.

The typing course is a bit challenging because every time u complete level 4 of a game you need to beat your WPM. I found mine the hardest to beat since it was 53 words but it managed to increase my confidence in touch typing and not being scared to use the skill although many students never see the benefits in the long-run.

I have a Mindstoms at home, but I have never been able to program it but this course has boosts my confidence in programming it.

I think you could make the lunch shorter but more time programming.

Really Fun

I had a great time! The course lead you through a set curriculum and the tutor stopped if you got stuck and always did they're best to help. The breaks were evenly spaced so you didn't get tired of it.

I came in not knowing anything about pygame but knowing python. After three days I was able to create, with the help of videos, a fully functioning game, which I can add my own touches to. This course has allowed me to extend my python knowledge further to be able to develop a game in python using classes. My tutor helped me to understand what the code was doing and when I wanted to add my own bits he could help me code it to the point in which I was happy . It was excellent!
