Roblox Review

Everything in the course was really fun, especially scripting and it covered everything that you would really need to know. There was a lot of freedom to do things you wanted, whilst sticking to the task. There was nothing really bad about it except for a few audio glitches.

I LOVED IT

I liked it because the challenges were very FUN!!!![Thus the name FunTech]. My favourite challenge was the was the Cleanup challenge because Knocking down the tower was EXTREMLY satisficing. That concludes my review. Hope to see you next summer!!!!!!! Rocco P. R. ;]

i really enjoyed the course; the pace was great, the topics were covered in a good amount of detail and depth, so i actually learned a lot. it was also pretty fun too and the tutor is great :)

This course was a great way to get into coding for a beginner. The tutor is very enthusiastic and encouraging to all of the students. The course is very well set and talks about all fundamental concepts of python.

I loved it it started off nice and simple but it excelled at a nice pace easy for us children. I enjoyed playing our games with my classmates but I most enjoyed making them!

Java Coder 2 weeks

Thank you for a fun and helpful course which introduced me to a new programming language called Java. My mentor Fabian was very helpful and nice and I feel very comfortable with my knowledge in Java. FunTech organised an educational course and I can't wait for my next one.

My son found the camp worthwhile and definitely improved his knowledge.
Virtual learning is always challenging but this was well organised and professionally delivered.
He did wish that there had been more interaction with other students, they learn from each other. I did feel that the students should have been requested/invited to show their faces rather than blank images. Face to face, even online is really important for understanding learning. This was not childcare for Owen but an opportunity to support his knowledge in readiness for his GCSE’s. I would definitely recommend.

Super fun and good for entry level game design. Really engaging and great teachers. It’s learning about tech in an interesting way - much more fun than school. I’d really recommend this to other people.

My son enjoyed the course and had a real sense of achievement. His teacher was able to engage him and as such I didn't have any trouble getting my son to attend each day.

Indie Game Coder

My son really enjoyed the indie game coder course using Construct3 and has clearly learned a lot. He is able to create simple games independently and has lots of ideas for how to push his new skill forward.

Great experience

My son has benefitted greatly from his FunTech courses, and his teachers have also recognised this when working on his projects at school. Learning from home with the Virtual Lab is so easy. He sign's in each week and is engaged for the entire lesson, learning and laughing along the way. The tutors and staff always bend over backwards to help, they recognise and give additional support when needed. I'm extremely happy with FunTech and looking forward seeing what he will achieve with them next!

A great week

My child found the start of the course a bit slow and would have liked some differentiation across the class, but overall they really enjoyed it and felt they had learned from the week. They found the teachers very helpful.
