I really enjoyed my week at funtech. There was a really nice atmosphere and the teachers were really nice.

I booked the club for 5 days and I already feel like I have learnt a lot! On the fifth day we also learnt how to make our own biomes and dimensions.

This is a great camp and I really recomened it if you have the chance.

mincraft is so fun

this week was the best week ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today Hafsa was late because she was locked up in the dungeons because she has lots of games on her phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

minecraft is now 10x better

what we did was on Monday we just done the basics. I found it very easy. and then we started doing the mods.

I had a good week come on and join in!

My 9 year-old-son was extremely excited at the prospect of a whole week with masses of screen time, and he was delighted with the activities taught on this course! The work was well-structured and very well explained, because the class sizes were small, as promised. I thought he would be very tired, but each day he came home fizzing with energy and wanting to tell me about his achievements that day. The team sensibly supported the children to take plenty of breaks out of doors throughout the day, so there was no problem with the screen time involved. He really wants to do one again!

On the very first day we made our own blocks in Minecraft and a few days later I made a theme park out of only that block! While I made this theme park I made my own mob(that is Minecraft terms for monster) and that mob was a ninja! If I tamed one of these ninjas they would follow me where ever I go/ I ended up making an entire army! those were the highlights of my week.

I loved Funtech so much but the reason i did put 4 stars is because I did not do everything I expected. However I loved this week at Funtech I hope I get to do more Funtech courses.

this week we had teague as are teacher for funtech i loved and it was really fun i made a helmet which if you press shift it will strike lighting where your looking i made a mob which you can tame with my ore it was great

Cali had a wonderful time. At first we were concerned that 5 days of 9am-5pm would be too a bit too long for her to do the same thing….but how wrong were we!!! She absolutely loved it, I do not think I have ever seen her so happy at the end of a long day. She said one of her favourite things about the instructors were how patient they were.

We will definitely be sending her back for more sessions next summer.

My son just completed his second year of camps with FunTech and he absolutely loves it. The platform is great, I particularly like how the tutor not only can present the course but also help out on my son's screen at the same time, its almost magic. We've tried other providers but they don't come...

My son just completed his second year of camps with FunTech and he absolutely loves it. The platform is great, I particularly like how the tutor not only can present the course but also help out on my son's screen at the same time, its almost magic. We've tried other providers but they don't come anywhere near the quality of a FunTech course. Our son learnt loads and was proudly showing off his creations at the end of the session, mobs, epic weapons, weird creatures... doesn't mean a lot to me, but the smile on his face does and his confidence not only on the computer but in a group environment have improved immensely. This year he will also join his older brother on the term time offering which is just as fantastic, wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I had lots of fun and it helped me learn how to use the computer. I enjoyed making mods and would like to do another camp like this.

i like funtech camp because it taught me lots of fun stuff like making mobs and block or items that used a piece of code which looked liked scratch

Mods Camp

I've had lots fun on the camp and have learnt loads over the week. The last day was doing mine own things and I found it hard to come up with ideas. Overall it was really good.

My daughter loves Minecraft and everything about it so when I saw this class on Mods for Minecraft I was immediately interested. The admin team has been great sorting out all questions and guiding me through the booking process. What's great is that you can use your childcare vouchers to pay for the classes. The teacher of the class was great and helped my daughter every time she needed it. She was the youngest in the class so she needed quite a bit of support but FunTech and the teacher were supportive and she managed to complete the class and be even more enthusiastic about Minecraft!

The only improvement would be a consent process to allow kids to stay in touch with the others they became friendly with, and develop a group closed game together, both during camp time and subsequently.

My son really enjoyed his Virtual Minecraft course. He learned lots of new skills, including elementary programming, and loved being able to design his own mods. This course kept him entertained whilst we were working from home, and he continued working on his own after the course too. He shared his new mods with us at lunch and in the evenings, and I had to learn a whole new set of Minecraft terminology. I can highly recommend it.
