I wasn't sure what to expect on the first day of the FunTech OOP course. I didn't know anyone there and I had not studied coding to too much of high level. What I experienced next was a divine revelation. It was one of the greatest five days of my life. I cannot thank the FunTech staff enough for the out-of-this world lengths they have gone to to ensure my full enjoyment of the course and for me to become whole as a Python programmer. The dedication filled me to the brim with drive and power and hunger and a level of happiness and coding prowess that even Tim Cook couldn't supply me with. I would like to sincerely thank FunTech and the vast amount of new friends that I have made in this course for the support they have given me. They made me a better coder, a better person. They make sure that Funtech is actually fun and are happy to teach you things outside of the course if it might help with your project - since they have studied the subjects of the courses to a high level, they know a lot more than just what's in the course and are happy to explain extra to you :)

Great! At the start of the week, I had very little knowledge of Python, and am now comfortable writing complex programs (such as text-based videogames and basic user interfaces). The atmosphere was relaxed, and breaks were plentiful but not excessive, with numerous fun activities (such as "Capture The Flag" and "Dodgeball") during lunchtimes. The tutors were very helpful when I didn't understand anything or my code wasn't working as intended and I couldn't figure out why.

The week was very fun and productive, the residential section was very fun and the classes taught me a lot I didn't know before. I made some good friends here and would definitely come again.

General Python OOP - Matas

I had a great 5 days here in FunTech, and learnt lot's of new ways to code in Python. I am happy to know these things, and I will be definitely using them outside of FunTech in my own projects at home. Definitely recommend, and you will most likely learn a lot!

Very fun I enjoyed it a lot.
Obviously this is different from the first level which made it a lot more worthwhile since I have gotten better and I think this is an efficient way to learn as a group as we can learn from other people's problems.
Also the tutors are nice and the class sizes are just about right which enables a good learning experience for everyone. Since there are so many courses most people are on about the same level.
The units are set in a good order where the things we have covered before can be used in the current unit, which is helpful as we can look back to see our previous codes to refresh our memory.
One thing that can be an improvement though is that sometimes the course goes a bit fast for some of our likings (not for me).
So overall a very good course.

I learnt a lot. It was great because it wasn't always the same. There were questions, programs to make, programs to fix and lots of choices. This meant that, by the end, we could use everything to make something really run. Everyone was really nice and the whole thing was really friendly.

I attended the Python OOP L2 Camp online, in the five-consecutive-day format. During this online camp, I learned a lot about Python. The content was evenly spread out throughout the past five days. The topics were interesting: as we studied deep subjects like data structures or GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces). The instructor took the time to help each student, and he was very supportive of each of us. The projects were enjoyable, as they were designed to have us take a game back at the end of the day. One negative point though, would be that the program is at times very dense, which means that following it isn't very easy, and the projects are quite hard, especially on the last day.

On the last day I would have prefered to just focus on doing projects all day instead of doing the "fixit" challenges, they were not as fun.

I've learnt so much over the past week which I'm sure will help me with my computer science GCSE and beyond! The tutors were really enthusiastic and helpful, not only during lessons but also at break and lunchtimes where we played fun group games. thank you! :D

Max was always helpful when I needed help and always explained everything clearly and helped me learn lots of new things. All of the teachers were all accommodating and made me laugh lots of times. All the teachers made it very fun to learn and were great.

Python OOP was very fun, are teacher Max was very nice and humorous and helpful. I highly enjoyed the week, the other teacher Hamza and the Leader Midé, were also very funny and I enjoyed playing card games with them like cheat throughout the week.

The Python OOP is a fast-paced course but also a well explained course. It propels your knowledge of python in one week and the constant screen breaks help reduce eye strain but also to just have a bit of socialising.

However, the only thing I was unsure about was the maths as it was a bit full on, so I would structure it by having the maths spread out more and the more interesting things spread out.
But other than that, it was great!

This wasn't one of those courses where you just copy from the tutor, this was one where you actually learned and could put that to good use. The tutor was very funny and wasn't boring one single bit. 10/10

My son found Python- Level 1 easy so we had to contact Funtech in a hurry. At 9 on the following morning, the worker was very professional and kind, asking Eric a series of questions to judge his caliber for his second level. All was fine.

The teacher was nice and kind to him and he helped my son efficiently. So effectively that my son told me 'we are covering enough of Python this week to last me to next year: his final GCSE computing exam.

Funtech is worth every penny I pay. Keep up the good work

Very fun

I liked it very much because of what they teach you. Most the topics were interesting although sometimes it was a bit too simple. I liked the quizzes as they created a social atmosphere and the tutor was very patient and very nice.

The 2 weeks I spent learning python via FunTech was definitely worth the time and effort as I learnt a plethora of new things that I didn’t know before. Not only did I learn a vast amount of helpful, useful and meaningful code, the course that my class followed was very well structured and easy to follow. Of course, everyone in our group struggled on certain aspects such as using lists or classes but, in the end, we were all able to write our own codes for ourselves and even use the aspects we struggled on to help us write our codes. I think the best part of this learning experience is that you always have the teacher there to help you at just at the raise of a hand!

All in all, I am very satisfied with my FunTech experience and will hopefully attend this class next summer.

I really enjoyed this camp as I got to learn a lot of new skills in coding and I was helped a lot when I needed it. Anything that was complicated was made sure to look over again and ensure everyone understood it. A lack of camera's on action is slightly recurrent throughout all funtech courses, and I think that if they made it compulsory it would mean that students get less distracted by mobile phones, diverting their attention 100% to the course.

Good and I was able to learn a lot over the past 5 days. Also I was able to refresh my memory on past times that I had used Python to code. Was able to grasp somewhat of an understanding about functions, objects and constructors.
