Very enjoyable week!

My son had lot of fun at this camp and learned how to use FPS Creator and make 'awesome' games using it!!
His tutor Kwaku was helpful and kind and the venue was in a nice setting....thanks so much FUNTECH !

3D Game @StAlbans

Georgia really enjoyed her work building a game. She loved the interaction with her tutor and other kids. She would definitely return for another course probably animation or 3D modelling.

I have thoroughly, enjoyed this course. It's a lot of fun and I have learnt how to use FPS Creator to make interesting and detailed games. My teacher informed us well on how to complete each task building up to our final game whilst keeping each session enjoyable.

All together the positives and good interaction from the teachers.
Thus, I would definitely recommend this course for any other game/gaming design fans or enthusiasts.

Great Course to make a 3D game and have some fun making it with scripting as well, it is a bit orientated around guns a bit but it was still fine and i loved course with Kwaku, Also Kwaku was a
very good teacher and he explained things when you need him to.

It is fine. I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't into guns. You create a game of your own on your last 2 days. The rest of the days you learn how to use the program. When we arrived the windows weren't open and lights weren't on. But it is really good if you enjoy fighting people on computers. The game is called First Person Shooter. On the last day your parents get to come early and see what you have made.

I really enjoyed this awesome coarse and Sean was an , brilliant tutor an should teach all course but the only problem is the out dated software and should get game guru as soon as it comes out

This camp is really good and i really recommend it but the only thing I would say is they need to update their software because it often crashes but it is REALLY COOL AND FUN.

I think fun tech is a great idea and I recommend coming. 3D game design is the course I have been doing, it consists of a small amount of actual coding but simple pictures that represent code the app used is called FPS creator short for first person shooter creator which is the type of lessons you learn but with the information you can make all kinds of game for example puzzle, parkor maps, horror etc etc etc but anyway I will defiantly be coming again with permission, oh and at lunch you get to go bowling one day and laser quest the next then repeat so yea...... I really enjoyed my week doing 3D Game Design. We learned how to design, build and customise our VERY OWN GAME!! My favourite part was the last 3 days, when we got to begin building the game, after spending the first 2 days learning the basics. We even learned how to change the scripting of objects and characters to customise them to our liking, and went as far as designing a custom main menu for my game! 3D game design was a fun and interesting course. I had fun through out the week learning how to make a game and our teacher David Lambeth was a fun tutor.

the camp was really fun because i liked making a fps and we went bowling and we went to laser quest it was really fun David was nice and the students were nice as well and its fun using fps create.

i had so much fun at the camp. it was greatly planned and very organized. i learnt so much and it really helped me towards my programming.

The camp was really fun learning and using things i never before knew about like FPS Creator. The scripting at first was confusing but now its something easy. I really enjoyed making playing and fixing the errors and mistakes i had made.

The course was great, to start off with the teacher was very good at the teaching and very importantly, very friendly. the videos that were used to demonstrate and teach us how to use the many things that the software we used offered, which brings me to the only major downside in the course: the software.The software was old and as a result there were technical difficulties, there were MANY times when it crashed occasionaly erasing progress. The software also had limitations to what it could do, but the rest was great. I HIGHLY recommend this course

Best camp I have ever been to

This camp is amazing ,the support is outstanding and the teachers are amazing. I have never been able to create a game myself but these people have told me how to and it feels amazing.
They cover everything in a game software, graphics, lighting and scripting I would definitely come again.

Funtech is the Best

The Tutors, Jake and Dev were great. They were really helpful with teaching me how to use FPS Creator. And they showed us how to script so we can really personalise our games so that we can create exactly what we want.

The course was a lot of fun and I would review it to anyone wanting to learn how tom make there own game. The program used wasn't the best as it kept crashing and its doesn't provide the user with many graphical options

As the oldest child on the 3d game design, I found this enjoyable.
PROS:
Simba (the lion king as he calls himself) was quite amusing.
We made some cool games with the program.
This course made me make up my mind to buy GameGuru (an updated version of the same game with more features)
Teaches you skills for life (if you use Unreal Engine, Unity or GameGuru).
CONS:
The program (FPS creator classic) had bad graphics and had a tendency to crash.
Not worth £500, more like at most £400ish.
VERDICT
Overall I think this is worth going to, the most notable flaw being the amount of money it costs to come to.

Nick was clearly knowledge think, he is knowledgeable with computers as he speaks freely about them. He also mentioned that he had built a few.

I've enjoyed this experience at Fun Tech Summer Camps. I have learned a lot about 3D game design and how it functions. I have also enjoyed the teaching the tutor has provided as he definitely one of the most entertaining I have had for quite some time. Though that being I can tell he doesn't have the best experience. I prefer to take my time when it comes to experiences such as this but I feel as if it was all rushed down and taken too fast (though that might be due to large amount of content contained within the course) and the program given to us wasn't without its flaws. Though all that aside I still enjoyed the course and will consider coming back next year next year and seeing as the program is being replaced by a superior one next year.

Amazing

I enjoyed 3D game design because it was quick and easy to get used to so you spent more time having fun and building big levels than trying to learn the ropes.
Defiantly coming back next year!!! :)
