Funtech Coding

I enjoyed the web meetings, because I learned a lot about coding, like how to print messages and make loops. The lessons were interactive and that made them fun.

Python Coder

My son went on the Python Coder day camp, which he loved. It is the only holiday course he has ever done which he said he would like to go back to. I was also delighted that he came home each day having done lots of running around in his break times. All in all a great success with lots of learning.

Although 3.5 hrs daily and virtually, the kids were very focused and engaged, having truly learned in a hands on environment. Strongly recommended.

Python Coder virtual camp

Ethan enjoyed his course and has asked me to sign him up for the next level. I found the half day sessions works well as his concentration diminishes as the day progresses.

Well run, excellent instructors and great support provided

Lessons were well conducted, enthusiastic instructors. I was particularly impressed by the additional consolidation sessions provided if the child requires it as that meant no kid would be left behind in subsequent lessons if he/she didn’t understand a particular concept.

It was okay, but i would have liked to understand the definitions of the coding.

i like how they give us extra slots to consolidate our learning. i would like it even more if we had more time to re-watch the videos, and if the videos were slower. i also wished that there were more definitions to the coding.
the break periods were just right
overall, this was quite fun :)

A fun and enjoyable lesson

These lessons were fun because its not too stressful , not too easy just right for a beginner. You could also be creative because what you learn you can use it in your project at the last day. This lesson was fun and engaging , so I would recommend it.
It is worth 2 weeks :)

Everything was amazing. The tutor made it super fun and helped me every step of the way. This has been an amazing experience an i have learned so much about coding python. Every lesson was in the right order for maximum comfort and learning. I knew it was going to be good, but not this amazing! I would do this all over again if i could. The only thing is that on some videos the music could be a little loud. But apart from that it was great fun and one of the best 2 weeks of my life!

Funtech has been a brilliant experiance.

Funtech is an amazing company. It has taught me so much in the past two weeks, and I feel extremely confident with coding with Python now, and I understand computers a lot better.

Ive really enjoyed this experience and have learned alot from the course, the final project has been good because ive been able to put everything together and make something of my own!

Virtual learning is always challenging but this was well organised and professionally delivered.
He did wish that there had been more interaction with other students, they learn from each other. I did feel that the students should have been requested/invited to show their faces rather than blank images. Face to face, even online is really important for understanding learning. This was not childcare for Owen but an opportunity to support his knowledge in readiness for his GCSE’s. I would definitely recommend.

My son enjoyed the course and had a real sense of achievement. His teacher was able to engage him and as such I didn't have any trouble getting my son to attend each day.

A great week

My child found the start of the course a bit slow and would have liked some differentiation across the class, but overall they really enjoyed it and felt they had learned from the week. They found the teachers very helpful.

My 11 yo enjoyed the course, was eager to get on with his work, and looked forward to it starting. The tuition was excellent and my son learnt a lot of the basics of programming Python. Working over two weeks of half-days helped him stay focused. He thanked me, dad, for funding the course, and i'm now in his good books! He will be doing Python OOP next.

I really enjoyed FunTech

I personally think that doing coding in FunTech was really enjoyable and its a really fun experience to learn how to code and make a few friends too (maybe).

Fantastic Funtech!

I have really enjoyed Funtech as I've learnt so many new things in python such as the different kinds of loops and nesting if and elif statements. I have learnt about how to ask the user for an input and much more code; even indenting! I had fun and i was able to make my own projects.

Good but bad

I liked it because it was easy but I didn't like the fact my interenet disconnected.

The best camp ever!!!!!!

OMG I really enjoyed my week of online python coding camp, I learnt allot of new things about python which I didn't know before. I give this camp a 10/10, five stars, I really don't see any problems. In my opinion it went on for an hour too long, but al-in-all it was good fun.
