Very Good

I enjoyed course 10 more than course 01 as there was a lot more possibilities of games and programs. I will definitely do course 11.

This two weeks residential camp was the first experience out of Spain for our son Andres (14) and it was also the very first time he used English out of a classroom. He loves technology and was really excited about the trip and the courses (coding levels 1 and 2) but he was also a bit worried abo...

This two weeks residential camp was the first experience out of Spain for our son Andres (14) and it was also the very first time he used English out of a classroom. He loves technology and was really excited about the trip and the courses (coding levels 1 and 2) but he was also a bit worried about being a foreigner in an class full of locals. However, his worries vanished in a few hours: he had a really great time in Tonbridge, making new friends easily (twice!), realizing that he can really use English for life, and also confirming that technology is great. Learning Java for 6 hours every day was really fun for him, he learnt a lot and he has been programming at home since he came back. The relationship with the tutors and the rest of the staff was also great, and the continuous activities out of the classroom were really exciting (his brothers are now quite jealous!).

The support we as parents received was excellent, including the delicate moments at the beginning. Sheineez and Phil were very nice and responsive, and made us feel really confident. They even organized a birthday celebration for Andres.

In summary, a perfect experience for Andres and an excellent way of combining tech, social and language learning in a shot. Absolutely recommendable.

I really loved this camp. At first, I hardly knew anything but now I now almost everything. Now I can play minecraft with all of my friends who know everything. Now I know lots too.

I knew I was going to have an awesome time as soon as I arrived. The staff are super friendly and we get to go to the park at lunchtime and play games. FunTech is a computer heaven for everyone who loves technology.

I think this is a brilliant camp and a great experience ( I went to the Maidenhead Branch ). The teachers were exemplary and very good at teaching; they were patient and help you whenever you needed it, they also gave you helpful tip to make coding easier. They were funny and most of the teachers were quite young so they understood us better and were able to tell what we were consistently struggling and we learn so much we learnt more than we needed to which help us to make better programmes. Mine has turned out great and I hope to come back again. They took us out to the park to have lunch and after the children who wanted to play football were allowed to and the teachers joined in which was nice even though some weren't that good but it was nice to see that they wanted to make us happy and share our enjoyment with them.
they also gave us regular breaks so that we weren't at the screen all day so it didn't hurt our eyes and neither did we have headaches.
I only found one problem and that we had to ask them to explain it again and because coding for beginners is a bit daunting and complex. So I think the should automatically explain it a second time. That was the only problem other wise I fully enjoyed my-self.
I think it was great and you show go. I definitely want to return. Thankyou FunTech!

The tutor ( sandeep ) was really nice and the rest of them helped a lot and were friendly. All of funtechs equipment was up to date so it was easy to use as we were familiar with it. Although the lobby was small all of the classrooms were a good size. Going here was definitely not a waste of time.

i was struggling in school from learning python 3.0 and learning a much better language called c# at funtech, this language can be used to make games in unity 5. but i was learning them both so i had to stop c# due python being used for my computing gcse. so i decided to do the coding level 1 to catch up.

while i am 15 and the majority of my fellow class mates are quite alot younger, what i have learned is actually pretty impressive. my teacher (sandeep) was extremly help and all round brillant.

while the first camp that i had done was "rig and render" now known as 3D modelling and animation was in my eyes more enjoyable due to me being more 3D modelling than coding. i would still highly recommend both.

funtech is known for having outstanding, easy to understand and complex skills that are taught, and im happy to say that that is the case once again.

Great way to spend the holidays

I did this camp for a week in the holidays. It was great! Really interesting and very fun. Enjoyable and a skill that will stick with you for life. Personally I highly recommend this camp. I will be returning!

I attended the Coding Level 1 summer camp in Maidenhead. They have taught me basic knowledge in coding, which I will hope to use in future.

I wish I could do another course, but I would definitely recommend this to family and friends wishing to explore the world of coding!

This camp has been absolutely brilliant. The teachers are very welcoming and explain things in a way that anyone could understand. It is a fun camp which is not just for the privileged few that already know coding but for everybody who wants to learn.

I did 3D game design and it was a great course the tutors put in 110% and the game design was so good for improving my knowledge on games and I will probably try coding next time.

BRILLIANT!!!!

I loved the Robotics camp that i did this week. It was very exciting. I had lots of fun building robots out of Lego bricks. It was brilliant.

I enjoyed this camp loads! Learning how to edit entities, make terrain and make my own scripts was amazing! No wonder FunTech is called FunTech, it really is fun!

Best Camp I've Been To!
