Python - Coder virtual camp

It's a great camp to introduce the python code to young children. Tutor even offered additional Q&A session to help my boy, which is very kind. It will help the children revise the new knowledge if small assignment can be provided after each session.

I think this course has been a great success for my son and although the first few days he found the content easy he soon settled in and it has cemented his knowledge which we wanted to make sure we could do. The tutor Sam impressed me as he had to deal with younger students and my son at the same time but he managed the age gap and gave my son different tasks as he realised maybe my son needed a bit more to do at times. He was professional at all times and the whole course was prompt and well managed.
We are doing 2 more courses and my son is looking forward to progressing with Funtech’s help.

It was well worth the price!

I really enjoyed the lesson and am definitely coming back for the Python V2 or OOP, In my class it would take two weeks to learn something when in this course it would only take around 5 minutes. The tutor was very supportive and always encouraged help, I highly recommend this course!

Was a very fun course with lots of topics covered, I really enjoyed the course for a number of reasons. The course for me was more of a confidence booster with my computer science skills, which I hope to use now and In the future. My tutor Sam was very understanding and was very good at helping all students understand concepts. He clearly had a deep understanding of the course as a whole and adjusted the pace of the lessons and provided different things to be completed for students that felt like they already knew thoroughly the topics that were being presently discussed. Even though I mostly knew almost all of the topics, I still came away somehow feeling I understood more about them. Was an absolute pleasure to be on the course, and I am looking forward to completing PC02 and PC03 in the future.

python is soooooo very complicated but the way that he presented it was perfect it made the understanding part much easier then it should be the course was perfect and I liked it very much and my last message is

I had a good time in the funtech coarse I learnt a lot about python coding which included (loops, printing speech, multiplying codes ) it was good I have been doing funtech for around 4 - 3 years and i had a great time

The course was very helpful to improve my knowledge on python, I learned many new things and the experience was smooth along the way. We used a coding application called pycharm which I quite enjoyed as we went through different units. When I had any issues or difficulties then I could just ask my tutor for help to solve any problems with relatively fast pace. I would for sure consider doing another course with FunTech as I learnt a lot in only 2 weeks. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn python.

It was a very nice two weeks and I learnt a lot more than I ever thought I could in the time period.
My tutor was very kind and the explanations' were simple to understand.
I would recommend this corse to anyone I know it was a great experience.

After 5 days of coding and learning, I write this review, as I declare that Funtech has fuelled my python experience with fun, accomplishment and challenges. As we dived through the challenges, I realised that it was so productive, because we learnt thing very firmly, yet so fast! Every time I took another step ahead and showed my hard work with my own code to my teacher, He was so encouraging and it made me feel like it was a great thing, so I think that this programming camp is something I would definitely come back to, because it made the programming language I was hesitant to approach into something I love. It is an easy 5/5 and I would come again.

It a Blast!

This Funtech course was a really fun and enjoyable experience and taught me a lot about coding. It's great for anyone who doesn't even know how to code or someone who has some experience, but needs to improve

I learned a lot and received help where it was needed. I also managed to learn and understand a bit better on the 2 on 1 session to go more in depth with loops.

An Amazing Experience

My daughter enjoyed the course, she learned so much and would definitely continue to complete more courses with FunTech. The teacher was so knowledgeable, professional and the whole experience was so much fun and full of things to learn.

I was really stressed about the coding part of my gcse computer science exam because I just couldn’t get the hang of it at school. I told my mum that I didn’t think I would do well in the exam, and she booked me on a 1 week python course at funtech.

My tutor was amazing, everything was broken down and explained clearly that it finally made sense.If anyone in the class had questions, she took the time to go over it until we all understood. Thank you funtech, your teaching is seriously good, and I will be back for more courses.

Just wish school taught like you guys.

the first and second day were kind of hard but then i started to understand thing on the third and fourth day. the fifth day was fun as i was making my own project and had full control over it

I really loved this course. It was really fun, informative and educational. I learnt a lot from it over the course of just 2 weeks.

My 13 year old son, while slightly reluctant at first to do a course during the summer holidays, soon became engaged with it and said he learned a lot. He feels this has set him up well to start Year 9/GCSE computer science and also commented that the tutors were very nice.
