I had an amazing time at Funtech this week. I learnt a lot about unreal engine, and many of its features including blueprints, materials, logic gates, and triggers/triggerables. The two instructors, Hamza and Gabriel did an amazing job of explaining everything in full detail and taking the time to go around and help everyone. They were very funny and very supportive and helpful. The only criticism that i would present regarding the week as a whole is that lunch times seemingly lasted much longer than most other courses that i have partaken in elsewhere, and it felt like some of the potential time was wasted. Overall, i wouldn't hesitate to rate the course 5/5

Intense, but worthwhile

i really enjoyed funtech and i have learnt a lot from my experience from funtech and i hope that i can use these skills for later in life

Best tech camp I've ever been to

Hamzah is so funny but at the same time so helpful. Whenever i have a query he always solves it for me and also pushes me to my limit if we have done it before in the content. Making games is so fun, i would do it for my regular job.

This course was extremely helpful and all the tutors were great. I would definitely recommend Mohamed 'Hamza' and Gabriel since they were very helpful and fair throughout the whole course. The course itself was very in depth and always kept me busy; it taught me key game design skills in famous software that was able to be accessed from home. The tutors were very able and taught the content very well for all the students.

The mentors knew what they where doing but they were spread out over lots of children so sometimes you had to wait a long time for help. The clips and power points where helpful but the clips where blurry and sometimes they contradicted each other witch ended in confusion. Over all it was a goo

Awesome

I have learned loads via Dom & Lewis who tutor my lesson they teached me everything i would have wanted to learn. I always felt i was being looked after and helped.

It was great!

It was very fun, but I got tired after a long day.

Amazing and super helpful.

It was super helpful because I was not very good at first and was not very confident but as I progressed and was given help(especially by Dom) I became more confident and became a lot better at what I was doing after lots of repetitive work. Overall, FunTech has been extremely helpful to me.

a brilliant course, well designed, and implemented although some of the course materieal wasn't used/incorrect so it was a little confusing. however the tutors were helpful and good. they were helpful but still got us to do things our selves.

i enjoyed it but the computers were a bit slow, one of them crashed but really enjoyed it!

This is one of the best camps ever. I have always wanted to learn this. Hamza is the best teacher and Shreeja was also the best! It is worth all the money. It is the best camp ever.

Just a suggestion - could you add Basic AI to the course. Also Hamza was really funny and a very good at explaining the content. I would definitely recommend.

This was the second time I visited FunTech and it was very fun and did not change in quality from last time. You can tell that the staff are very passionate about video games like No Man's Sky and the use of Unreal Engine was very well explained by the teachers. Great camp, would definitely recommen

Good fun

The camp was very enjoyable. Luis and Lucas really got the balance right between expanding our knowledge and allowing us to explore our ideas. The videos really helped and the software was easy to use. Overall a very good course, *****.

super funtech

wow! despite being younger and less skilled than the others it was really fun. Something I'd like to mention that we first did first person, then for some reason, we did side scroller which is, if I'm not mistaken, don't get me wrong, is semi - 3d.

it is to easy

you should only put 13-16 yr old's in this camp because the younger ones are really annoying

apart from that is was fun and now i can create my own game on unreal engine xxxx

The sessions have a great atmosphere and are well tailored depending on the age and skill set of the individuals attending.

3D Game Design Course

3D Game Design was very fun and I learned a lot about how to create a mini-game using Unreal Engine. The tutors were kind and helpful and I would highly recommend then to anyone!

I had a great time this week at Funtech 3d game design as it was really interesting whilst also being fun. The tutors (Dominic and Connor) were really good and nice. I learnt the basis of unreal engine and had a great time so would 100 percent recommend to anyone. Great time! Worth it! sincerely

Fun tech moved us from Richmond because i was too good at python.

I started at Richmond doing python but i found it very easy. They saw that i was very good so, they decided what to do is to move me as i could learn something during the week.

very good week, the teachers were very good

I really enjoyed doing this week and I'm sad that I'm leaving. I'm happy I'm here next week.

A very fun course that quickly gets you the basics of Unreal Engine 4. I found myself progressing quite quickly and received 1 on 1 help for more complex material as I was ahead of the majority of students.

Funtech was an amazing experience and I learned a huge amount about the game-making-industry and Unreal Engine. They provided great help when I needed it and I enjoyed making my games. I would highly recommend this course.
