I really liked the whole camp it was the best camp i have ever been to to be honest. This really changed my perception of what i want to do when i am older. I never thought i would love designing a game so much and i definitely didn't think it is more enjoyable than playing a game.

I really loved this camp. During the first 2 days, we had some serious problems with the virtual machine, but Mr.Alexander (we chose to call him that) never got frustrated once. We found out our WIFI was the problem, and we could never really get it fixed. But, instead of getting angry or frustrated, Alex really helped us, offering to do it on his computer with us telling him what to do instead of giving up. He always stopped to let us take notes when we were watching videos and was overall really helpful.

Luca enjoyed some parts of this course but struggled with the virtual side. Luca enjoyed some parts of this course but struggled with the virtual side. With his dyslexia he struggles remembering the instructions so we ended up taking a photo because the instructions moved on. He also found the constant chattering of some students very off putting, making it hard to concentrate and hear. The instructor was very helpful and Luca gained confidence to use the messaging chat to ask for help over the first few days. Its a hard course but very interesting and Luca said he would have preferred a classroom - at least he tried!

I didn't learn as much as I thought I would I only really learnt stuff in the final few days the first 5-6 days were just making shapes. I have to say I think the ageing was unfair as the people in my group were the same year group as my brother but he wasn't allowed to go but they were.

I really liked this course, its very creative and u design whatever you want. I think this course gave u an incite of 3D game Design and taught you the basics . Overall i recomend this course and really enjoyed it

Our tutor was one of the best ones as he was calm and fun and he helped us with literally everything and whenever we had a problem and he didn't know the answer asked other staff so he could teach it to us the next day.

I loved creating AIs and building the maps and levels for my game! It's fun! The health pickups and damage pads were really cool to make.

I thought that the camp was very good and really helped me. I think the tutor (Nadia) was excelent and while learning the key skills it was also fairly fun.

Wow, this course was absolutely amazing and I loved it. It gave me something to look forward to in the morning and made me busier than I normally would be. The tutor was great. It is amazing for all experience levels, from little-to-know experience to experienced self-learners. I would really recommend it! I would give it a 6/5 if I could, but that's mathematically impossible (cos it needs to be an integer and a fraction )!
Really, if your thinking about it for you or your child, don't hesitate to do it because it's more than worth it!

The course goes over the basics of game design, but the resources are limited in terms of what types of games you can make. limited to basically platformers and puzzlers. the world of gaming is large, and I can see why it would be hard to cover even half of it. but it would be nice If we could also add enemies and combat features, just to widen the scope of the course a bit more.

final verdict, gives a good start into the world of 3D game design, but the resources they provide are limiting on what you can make

Fun but a bit dissapointed

It was really fun but we couldn't do all the stuff that I wanted to do in the course. I wanted to do enemies, bosses and AI but sadly we couldn't do that in the course. All in all I really enjoyed the course, and I recommend it, but you can't make everything that is in a really good game.

It was a great place to spend half term. Although it was a long day, it was enjoyable. On the first day, it was a bit boring because it was the basics. However, as the week went on it was very fun but educational at the same time. The teachers her were very friendly and would help you well if you need help. Don't have high expectations though for you can't make a great game in 5 days! The game will only be like a simple parkour game or puzzle game. We also didn't have enough to make things like enemies, so the game will be very simple if you decide to bring your child here. You do get to bring back your game and work on it later at home if you have a USB stick which is good. Overall it is great, I will definitely want to come back.

Great fun but slightly disappointed

It was amazing fun and I would really recommend it to other people but I am a bit let down by the fact that we couldn't add AI to our games. Overall it was a lot of fun and it was a great experience.
