He really enjoyed the course, and thought the teacher was 'brilliant'. He has enough knowledge now to carry on learning on his own, but is looking forward to being able to take another course in the future if there's one that builds on this one.

We were incredibly impressed with the course and its content, but absolutely blown away by the amazing support our daughter received. She is somewhat of a perfectionist, prone to bouts of anxiety and the occasional ASD meltdown. After a lesson in which she panicked, the Funtech team called us to offer a recap of the lesson and some extra support - this was all it took to reassure her. She has looked forward to each lesson, has learned tons and has finished the course brimming with ideas that she now knows how to put into action. We will definitely be booking with Funtech in the future! Thank you to all the team!

Real Good Fun

It was real good fun but boring at times when having to the the trigger able blueprints but everything else was really fun.

The Amazing FunTech 3D Game Design Camp!

It was a super fun camp, with loads of different fun-packed activities and opportunities! The teachers that I had, Cato especially were amiable and informative, and it gave me the chance to meet lots of new people. I would love to do this camp again and would recommend it. Absolutely worth it!

A fun programming course

A great experience and I would recommend it to other people to try. It was a bit strange on the remote learning though.

I loved learning about the triggers as I made lots of things using it. There weren't any too easy parts and there weren't any too hard parts. Cato was very helpful and didn't care about how many questions we asked.

Great course

It was a very good course. As i went from knowing nothing to creating my own game in two weeks. The best bit was definetly the side scrollers.

A very good course with some disruption from others

The course and its contents were very enjoyable, and the tutor was very nice. However, there was some disruption from the other pupils in the first few days (but these will likely vary overall due to the different classmates).

It was very fun

At first there were a few bugs and glitches but they were quickly fixed and after that it was amazing. I learnt a lot of coding and had a great time. 3D game design was very exiting and interesting.

My time doing funtech was amazing it was a bit frustrating with the glitches but the more it happened the quicker it was to resolve i will definatly do this again

It was fun and awesome!

overall i liked the majority of the lessons as i only had a few difficulties in understanding. Other then that, it was fun.

A very fun camp with lots of opportunties to learn

The 3D game design virtual camp was truly an amazing experience. I honestly think that no other summer camp can counter the friendly staff and interactable tasks.

I recommend this course if you like to design and fairly simple code. I recommend the virtual machine if your laptop can't handle unreal engine.

Very fun and easy to follow

The course is reasonably casual and smooth the, help is excellent and very adaptive so that no one is left behind for long. Very well explained and the exercises are challenging but not really hard one change maybe to make the first day a little less packed but apart from that very good overall.

Very Good,

Funtech was very enjoyable to do all the time, the first day was a bit hard but I got over it and the rest of the camp was extremely fun to do. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in game design. 10/10, would come again.

I found this FunTech camp brilliant. On Monday, when we started we were unfamiliar with the software and its contents leading to quite a few errors. As the course progressed fewer errors occurred and we learnt more sophisticated material. There were a small number of bugs and issues with the software during the course but these were quickly resolved by the FunTech team. I found this course very productive having learnt so much in one week. I'd definitely recommend this to other people.

An amazing start to the summer holidays

I found that Unreal Engine was what I expected and about 100 times more. The tutors and staff were amazing when I had an error or issue, and did everything they could to right it. I will definitely do Funtech again, perhaps when the face-to-face camp opens again, as it was a little trickier than it

But i give it 5 stars, will recommend it to everyone it think will like it, and have many amazing recollections of the week.

I really enjoyed my week of camp and I learned a lot about Unreal Engine. I had lots of fun learning new things and using those things in our games. The camp was easy to follow and it was easy to get help and help came quickly! I had fun from day one to the last day. Even though we started out rough and will technical issues and errors, we quickly learned how to manage the program quickly and have fun too. I really enjoyed it and loved every minute.

Enjoyed the corse I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. The first few days were hard to concentrate as you really had to work for 3 hours and that is very hard. The corse was much better when we got to make our own game as you do not need to rush you ideas, you had two sessions to finish your final

The technical support was very good the screen sharing was very useful if you had a problem they could fix it very quickly. I believe that the corse would have been a bit better in person but because of the current circumstances that could not happen. This was a good corse but there were parts that I believed things could have been done better. For example I think the corse is a bit too long and could have more breaks to make you get through the work quicker and remember what happens in the videos. The videos were well structured and were not too long these were helpful to give you a good idea of what you needed to do in each part of the corse. Over all I think the corse could be better but there is nothing FunTech could really do about it other than making more breaks.

Fun Tech is a great, fun camp where anyone can learn to code. The tutors are extremely kind and help you loads. No matter what stage you are at when you go in, you always come out multiple steps ahead. 5* camp, I thoroughly enjoyed it and a medium difficulty level (although some bits we quite hard).
